S/I What was your first car? And what do you drive now?

The first car I bought was a 1986 Mercury Cougar. Only "car" I've ever owned. Once I went SUV, I couldn't go back.
Current vehicle: 2011 Nissan Armada

My first car was a 1978 VW Dasher hatchback. Mom and Dad bought it for me after freshman year of college. I currently drive a 2011 Kia Soul.

We bought DD her first car for Christmas- a 2014 KIA Forte. It is really nice- much nicer than my first several cars! We always told her if she got a full scholarship to college, we would buy her a car. She did, and we did. Much cheaper than 4 years of tuition!!

My first car was a '99 Volvo S-80 - black with beige leather interior. I bought it off my neighbor for 4,100 and it had (i believe...) 178k on it? Her name was Bailey (named for Dr. Bailey from Grey's Anatomy).

I now drive a 2010 Nissan Altima - dark grey. Her name is Emma (as in Emma Watson a.k.a. Hermione Granger a.k.a. Belle a.k.a. my two literary/film heroines)

Dad bought me my first car in 1986. I was 18. It was a Ford Granada, maybe a 1974...it was $500.

Now I drive a 2011 Ford Expedition. Bought it new in 2010.

My first car was a 74 Pinto, her name was Sylvia. I was 15. I didn't know I was getting a car.

My very recent car and it was a journey, hate car shopping :1990 Mercedes E300.Her name is Claire.

First car was a 1980-something gold Turismo

Current car is a 2016 Dodge Journey.

My first car was a 1986 Chevrolet Spectrum, no name.

My current car (and the only car I've every purchased twice) is a 2011 Mini Copper S, shockingly named Minnie, lol. Minnie and I are not speaking at the moment, she's been very unkind to me the past two months and racked up about $3000 in repairs. I still love her, but I haven't forgiven her just yet.

1989 Chevy Cavalier, silver....ahhhh memories!! I shared that with my brother, but when he stopped returning it when he would take it to college for the long weekends I would drive my father's 1990 manual Mitsubishi Mighty Max,light blue. And a pick up in high school was definitely a plus:thumbsup2

Now, black 2015 manual Honda FIT.

First car was a 1988 GMC Suburban. My parents wanted me to win in any car accidents, but it mainly meant that I always ended up with a car full of friends since I could carry the most people.

Current car, that we just took delivery on about two months ago, is a red Tesla Model X with the all white interior. Love it so much and it definitely gets us comments and stares pretty much every time we drive it.

My first car was a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix when I got my license in 2007. It was my father's old car before he got a newer one.

I now drive a 2016 BMW M2.

First car was a 1964 Buick Special. Currently driving a 2015 Kia Soul. In between, I've had a VW rabbit, a 1069 VW bus, Dodge van, a Capri, a Datsun 210, a 1998 Grand Voyager, a 2007 Grand Caravan, a 1989 Volvo 740, a 1987 Hyundai Excel, a 2005 PT Cruiser, and a leased 2014 Equinox. The Hyundai was the only car that was brand new, other than my Soul and our leased Equinox. I don't name my cars, but DD calls the Cruiser "the Nugget" and DH calls his Equinox "Vern" (short for Vernal... Equinox, get it?).

First car was a pinto, I sure miss it now.

I have a 1996 ford aerostar van
I have a another car which is luxury but all paid for and put in another engine.

And a 2000 gmc work van. So everthing we have is older and ptl no car payments.

My first car was a used 2010 Mercedes-Benz C3004MATIC, which my Mom bought for me, as my estranged father was able to get as he worked at a Mercedes-Benz dealer and got it at a price that bested the new 2012 Ford Fusion we were supposed to get. The reason we did not get it was because the Ford dealer pulled a bait and switch on us at the last minute and at the same time, the Mercedes was a better deal. While it was a nice car thanks to its agile handling, smooth ride, luxurious interior, and conservative but classy looks, it was a lemon due to the brakes not being precise as they could be and the service department either being unable or unwilling to fix them, despite the problem existing. At times, they were able to fix the brakes but the problem came back. While the car had its high points, we got rid of it for a 2016 Subaru Legacy 3.6R which was just as nice and more reliable. However, now that my Mom traded that car for her Charger R/T, I drive a 2018 Toyota Corolla XLE which I love thanks to its surprisingly roomy interior, solid feel, safety, comfortable seats, and excellent gas mileage. It may not be flashy, but it's an excellent car! :D

1981 Pontiac Phoenix hatchback was the first and so far, the longest. Current is a 2017 Prius v in sea glass pearl named Ariel (what else would a Disney fan name a sea glass colored car? ;)). In between, one Ford Escort wagon and two Ford Focus wagons. I love the wagon format but it’s getting harder to find.

My first car was a 74 Chevy Nova. I drive a 2018 Subaru Legacy now.
Haha my Father had a Nova and believe it or not, possibly the same year as yours. While I don't have it anymore, the Legacys and other Subarus I have tested are very good vehicles! :D I hope you have many happy years with it! :D

1st car 1978 Pontiac Trans Am that I bought myself
current car is a 2019 Acura RDX ASPEC

My first two cars were an 84 Ford Escort and an 86 Mercury Lynx. This was 1996. Or maybe the Escort was an 86 and the Lynx was an 84. Honestly I forget, and I also forget which one of the two I had first. To be fair, it's the same car.

Currently drive a 2012 Chevy Equinox.

First car I drove regularly was Mom’s 1969 Olds Cutlass.
My first car was a 1985 Chrysler Laser.
Currently driving a 2018 Nissan Frontier.
