S/I What was your first car? And what do you drive now?

My first car was mom's 2 year old hand me down Nissan Maxima. Currently, I've got a 2009 BMW (the only car I haven't totaled and I got it new then) and a 2014 Jeep GC to have something to put crap in. I'm a terrible driver and avoid it whenever possible.

My first car - 1980 Chevy Chevette - I was in high school, paid for it. Current - 2008 Lexus SC430 Pebble Beach convertible and 2010 Lincoln Navigator L. Drive the convertible when it is sunny. Need the Navi for our business. We will prob replace the Navigator in a year or so. Thought about an Escalade ESV, but the new Navigator debuted at the NYC car show and we really like it! Navigator is white with black interior - never getting black again!

The first car that I considered "mine" (e.g., my name went on the title) was a 1984 Honda CRX. Sweet and fun car for that time in my life. A little pocket rocket that got great gas mileage. Of course, it only held two people, and not all that much luggage. LOL. My then live-in boyfriend (and now husband) had other cars before we got that one, the most infamous of which was the 1978 Toyota Corroded, where the hood was literally held on by bungee straps because it was such a rust bucket. I SMH at the kind of garbage cars we drove before we got our first decent car.

Current car: 2013 Toyota Camry Hybrid.

My first car was a green 1983 Ford F150. It was named the "Bucktruck". Long story.

My current car is a 2006 silver Scion Xb. It's named the "Sexy Scion".

My first car was a gold Ford Probe. Not sure of the year...

My current car is a 2016 Ford Explorer.

First car was a 1979 Mazda GLC in bright orange. I named it "The Great Pumpkin". My friend gave me a fluffy steering wheel cover that looked like a dead muppet. Good times!
I current;y drive a 2008 Nissan Rogue. I don't hate it, but I NEED a mini van.

First car was a 77 Dodge Colt. White body, with a red stripe on the side, and a red vinyl top.
Now I'm in a 2015 Kia Rio.

My first car was a 1994 Mercury Topaz, named Bean. I was 18. I loved that car.

My current car is a 2005 Pontiac Sunfire, sports edition, with sun roof, named Leif. Best car I've ever owned, and I'm prepared to drive it into the ground. I've had the car for 7 years now, and the most expensive problem I've ever had to fix cost me less than $300.

My first car was a 1986 Plymouth Turismo. That damn thing left me on the side of the road more times than I'd like to remember. It never "had" a name but I sure did call it lots of things.

Now, I drive an Audi SQ5. We call her "Snow White". It's white (in case you couldn't guess).

My 1st car was a 1978 Chevy Vega. No air, ripped vinyl seats, horrible aluminum block engine but awesome 8 track stereo system. :thumbsup2

My current car is a 2005 Toyota Camry that looks horrible and is getting ready to push over 250,000 miles. I really want a new vehicle but I'm one of those people who drives a vehicle until it dies and this sucker just. won't. die. It's been a great car.

My first car was a 1993 Ford Escort. I bought it myself when I was 18 (1994). My current car is a 2015 Toyota Sienna, and I really like it. I guess I am officially old.

My first car was a 1968 VW Beetle, the first iteration of their automatic transmission car. It was royal blue and it cost just over $2,000 new. The cost went over $2,000 because I got a cigarette lighter option (yes, it was an option). DH was smoker at the time.

I currently drive a 2016 Kia Sorento, moderately equipped, and I absolutely love it, as do my DDs. It cost considerably more than $2,000.

First: 1963 full size Chevy, 6 cylinder, standard 3 speed shifted on the column.

Now: Either a 2015 Mazda Miata MX5 or a 2011 Hyundai Tucson.

First car 1972 Mustang in sickly pale yellow-nickname "The Turtle" because it could barely get out of its own way

Today 2016 Porsche Macan Turbo in mahogany metallic - just a wee bit faster than my first car:car:

My bicycle. Seriously, for years I was totally resistant to the idea owning a car. I've improved as a driver and I'm a lot more confident but I'm also not one of those natural drivers.

I have a 90s four door sedan (mercury) now. I drive a lot more now because I've come to enjoy road tripping- I used to vacation solely in cities but my expanding interests have made a car on vacation a necessity. (But mostly, can't exactly walk my dog to his vet/groomer/sitter/dog park, and he's too large for an working standard crate).

My first car was a 99 Oldsmobile Intrigue named Travis that I bought for myself when I turned 16. It was your basic 'I just need to get around' first car.

Last year, I bought myself a used 2015 Chevy Sonic named Ramsay.
