Just looking throught the menu's & I would like to try THe Plaza @ MK this Dec trip. IMO the menu looks more like a lunch menu. Would it be smart just to do lunch there & pay OOP, rather than using a TS credit? Ant suggestions

Yeap, that's what we do exactly. When we do Crystal Palace early ADR for breakfast, we do Plaza Rest. OOP since it's just a little more than CS price and nice seat down meal.

Definitely an OOP meal. Pretty cheap and the food is good. DH and I both got milkshakes (delish!) when we were there and they are HUGE. I mean like 2 full cups worth. So just an FYI- unless you REALLY love your milkshakes, you can easily share one. We ended up leaving 1/2 of each of ours on the table because it was just too much sweet stuff with a meal. YMMV.

It's also a good OOP option if you were planning to use 2 credits for a signature restaurant dinner.

Our plan was to pay oop for the Plaza and just order entrees and drinks then use a snack credit at the ice cream parlor.Hopefully you can still use them there.Otherwise I am sure we can get dessert somewhere else.

That was our plan when we had dinner there in Dec 09 before MVMCP. The reuben was so big we never thought about dessert. And I'm a big guy. Definitely oop meal. We're going there our first night this trip. Love it there.

Love the Plaza. It is more of a lunch style place. IMO. I get the turkey sand on multigrain. Each 1/2 is the size of a regular piece of bread. Huge! And pretty inexpensive for Disney prices!

Us too!!! We're doing lunch our first full day and paying oop. We haven't been to the Plaza in years so we're really looking forward to it this trip!!
