?'s about rebooking during the crusie...& 10% discount

I have a question for those who have booked during the cruise. I have read before you get 10% discount. Is this for any class of room. We are doing cat 11, and will probably do that again. Does the discount count for this cat. as well?
With this class of room what type of discounts should we expect to get? Will it even be worth taking the time and booking onboard?

From what I understand,you can't get the 10% on a Cat 12, but definately on an 11. You'll also get an onboard credit as well (like $50) but then when you get home, you can turn your reservation over to a TA,like Dreams, and then receive an extra OBCredit. We plan on rebooking for 2010 while we're on our Repo cruise next Sept.

My aunt booked her next cruise onboard ... cat. 9 ... got 10% off and $200 onboard credit (for a 7 day cruise). I think the onboard credit amount depends on the length of cruise that you book.

We rebooked a cat. 11 and got the 10% off and $200 onboard credit per stateroom for a 7 night cruise.

We rebooked onboard last time and I went to look at the paperwork when I read this thread. It's 10% off (any category) and the onboard credit isn't based on category- it's based on length of stay. $100 for 3 or 4 day, $200 per room for 7 days (or longer- unless there is something different. We rebooked onboard for a 7 day cruise with a date we never intended on using and then changed the dates to a 15nt cruise. I'm not sure if you were able to rebook onboard FOR a cruise that was longer than 7 days if you'd get more onboard credit or not)

But it's definitely not based on cat and even a cat 12 gets it. It's just based on length of stay per room.
10% off is on all rooms rebooked onboard.

If you rebook for a 7 night you get 10% discount and 200.00 OBC
If you rebook for a 3 or 4 night I believe you get 10% discount and 100.00 OBC
I also believe you get the discount no matter what Cat you book but I'm not positive. Also all of this is subject to change at any time. Once on board ask the booking agent on board.
