We are fast approaching our 90 day mark to make online reservations so I need some answers to some questions.

We are traveling with friends and both couples want to do Palo. We are going to watch their DD1 while they do Palo, and they in turn will keep our DD2 while we go to Palo. I'm fairly sure that our DD2 would never stay in Flounders , so this works out great! Okay, so here's the questions...

What time does Palo open? close? Do they seat a bunch of people at once, or do the reservations happen every 10-15 minutes?

We would both like to have our Palo reservations for the same night if possible. One couple could have an early seating and the other couple could have a late seating. How long does dinner at Palo take? How much time should we allow between reservations if this is possible?

We could go on seperate nights, but neither want to miss the AP show, and Pirate night, and Formal night, so it just seems like it would be easier to try and go the same night. Thanks for you help!

Palo starts seating around the same time as the first dinner rotation. Dinner takes about the same length of time as dinner in one of the rotational resturants. So Couple #1 could make their ressies for 6:00 and Couple #2 could try for 8:00 and there should be plenty of time for everyone to enjoy it.

I would book online as soon as possible, I just tried for our July 30th cruise and tons of times were already taken .. some nights not even available.

We had 6:30 seating at Palo and didn't get out of there until close to 9:00. Of course DS was in the lab, and we weren't in any hurry to leave.

I made my Palo ressies today and it offered several times to choose from statring around 6:00 or 6:30 until 9:00 or 9:30. First time cruising so I don't have any idea on how long to expect dinner to take, but if there are several times to choose from one party could choose the earliest time and the 2nd party could choose one of the latest times available that way there should be plenty of time.

Having just reserved online....starting time was 6:00 p.m. and every 30 minutes thereafter. I forget when the last start time was. They allow 2 hours per reservation when it's posted to your cruise reservation online, but you'll never feel rushed, nor do they adhere to any time limit that I could see.

Make sure you take time to enjoy it. We love Palos and plan accordingly. Since we never can decide exactly what we want to eat, we normally order a couple of entrees. They are great about letting us eat, have some wine, and then order something else, lol. Normally it's a pizza that we like to split after an entree.

Thanks so much for all your help! Hopefully we'll both be able to get reservations for the same evening.
