Didn't see Today but he's on The View today. I'll be watching. He's a little bonkers isn't he? I saw some of his show with Tatum a year or so ago.

I told my ds as we were watching, best advertisement for Dont Do Drugs. Or excessive alcohol. It was really sad because he was a great looking guy back in the day. I know we all get old, but he had that look of a man who had overindulged in everything!

I didn't see it but I saw when Matt Lauer made Christie Brinkley cry. He's acted like a jerk. Kept asking her questions about her divorce and then when she broke down the segment ran out and said "oops, I guess we should have talked about your new project."

Matt Lauer is a jerk. He acts so glibb and cold about most things.

He has prostate cancer yes..I believe it is Stage 2 not 4 though.

As for Ryan .. good grief. That man has issues. And I do NOT think Farrah would be happy about his tell-all books. Did you see the part where he was, "Well not really pointless. Did I say life was pointless in the book?"

Did you guys watch the show he and Tatum did on the OWN network last year. It was pretty clear that he is totally into himself and doesnt care about anyone else! When they were in therapy together, anytime Tatum would push him to admit or explain anything, he would be so nasty!

He is a poor excuse for a father IMO. Look at how his kids have turned out! And, all he wants to talk about is poor Farrah!

I just watched him on the View. (although I wanted to yell for the girls to shut up I swear they all Including Barbara, have no idea what wait for your turn to talk is)
It was so sad seeing him. He said he was a bad father and only gets to see his kids on "visiting days" and dosen't even know what jail his one kid is in! I agree that it is just a reminder to not do drugs.

in the article in People, he says he told Tatum, "You're asking me to choose the girl I don't sleep with. You can't ask that of a man. I love you, you're my daughter, but there are certain aspects of my life you cannot fulfill."

what???? that is seriously messed up. i think Tatum was just a kid when he said that to.

Well, In his defense - the man is 71 years old and going thru cancer treatment. Don't get me wrong, I think he's a narcistic jerk who was a crappy dad and crappy partner. But considering his age/health he looks fine.

I just watched it on line. I too think that he seems lost. I believe that he loved Farrah more than anything. However.....he said he wrote the book because he missed her and it made him feel closer to him. I get that in a theraputic sort of way but why publish it if it's not to just make money off her death. Like Matt said, she's not there to defend herself. I also didn't really like his reaction when Matt asked him about Redmond and the knife when he was 6. He made a joke out of it when Matt asked him how they reacted by saying "We moved the knives up higher so he couldn't reach them."

I think Matt Lauer was very kind and sympathetic to him.

Actually, he said he has not started treatment for the prostate cancer yet. When Matt asked him aobut it, he said something like "No, I'm doing you first". I took that to mean he's doing all his press stuff for the book before starting treatment.

I remember reading an interview after Farrah died. Tatum went up to her dad and he propositioned her! Asked her for a drink and if she had a car. She had to identify herself to him.
Personally, I wouldn't stoop to interview him if I had the clout Matt Lauer does. Guess that's media today

By the way, I did not watch this last interview but I'm not surprised he came off as bizarre.
