Hi all. Before he went in for surgery, John asked me if I would post over here to let everyone know how he made out. For those of you not on Facebook, John's surgery went really well. Erica posted that he was surprisingly calm when they took him in yesterday morning. Around 1pm yesterday she posted that he was in the recovery room and the Dr said that everything went well with no problems.

This was his post from his iphone at around midnight:
Hi everyone I'm alive, I love you guys so much, thanks for the prayers and thoughts. It means more than you will ever know. Just waiting on my drugs. Lol. Will post more tomorrow.

The newest post on his FB wall is a picture of him in his hospital gown, sitting up in a chair, asleep. Kinda looks like they gave him LOTS of good drugs!! I will try keep you all up to date while he is unable to get on the Dis. Please keep him in your prayers for a smooth and speedy recovery.

You just did,,Kelly just posted it.

I called John earlier,, woke him up.(sorry John)
He goes home tomorrow, and hes REALLY sore.
They gave him pain meds,,BUT they never give you enough to actually kill the pain.

I noticed I wasn't getting Deb's updates for a long while. I thought she was real shy. Then I noticed an edit option on the bottom of my page and she was there under hide, she isn't so shy after all.

Hope she doesn't think I was ignoring her.

Just a little update. I was just on John's FB page and there is a picture of him all dressed, laying on the bed, ready to go home!!! I can't tell if he's smiling or wincing from pain..... Maybe a little of both? Either way, he seems to be doing well and he's GOING HOME!!!!
