RV rentals

We are looking at renting a camper for March for our trip and wanted some suggestions on where to rent from? We have stayed in the cabins before, but this time there will be 6 of us plus my brothers family so 3 additional.

I have close friends who made a ressie with someone who rents trailers at the Fort after doing due diligence. As the url in your browser put in www.campatthefort.com .

They have multiple travel trailers available with different sleeping capacities and layouts. Also make sure to look at what the minimum rental period is based on the trailer you want/need and your current ressie. I hope there is a match for you.

This is a great idea to use if you love the Fort as we do but don't want to sleep in a tent or pay for a cabin. Of course you need to reserve a site (or these folks can do the site ressie as part of the trailer package and pass the cost on to you). So the cost is somewhere in between tents and cabins. But hey, they do the set up and take down so it's nice for you.

My concern is that you can get a match on the trailer versus your dates. Maybe three months is enough notice. I don't know. Let us know how your WDW trip goes. We love trip reports here.

I have looked at them and they do have one available. I also looked into another company, but wanted to check around and see if anyone had any others they suggest. I am going to go ahead and book a camp spot and if it works out then we'll camp, but if not we'll just have to stay somewhere else. As long as we're at Disney who cares!

I have also heard great things about the rental company that Bama_ed mentioned above. Several people on this board have rented from them and I have never heard of anyone having a problem. They have a great reputation.

I would highly recommend tina from the url given on the first reply.
She has been serving campers for a long time and I think the most trusted when it comes to this services.
They would have someone set up your trailer at your camp ground so you don't have to worry anything about that.

All I can say is CALL SOMEONE NOW. Tina has a limited # of units and sites at Disney book 1 year ahead. March is very nice weather and lots book.

Thank you all for your advice. We have looked around at rv camping and also renting a cabin since my brother has decided he wont be able to go. We still aren't for sure what we are going to do yet, but if it's booked up I guess we will just have to do something different.

Moore camper rental. Rodney the owner was great to work with and he responds quickly to any questions. He evens delivers, setup and pick up. Plus his golf cart are much cheaper to rent vs renting from Disney. Plus, his website has lots of pictures to help you decide which camper to pick.

Just completed four days at Fort Wilderness in an RV from Moore Camping Rentals. (mcrfl.com) Can't say enough about the experience. They delivered in a very timely fashion. Set up was quick and complete. All we had to do was walk in the door. The price was very reasonable and Rob Moore was just a nice person to deal with.

The RV was clean and in good condition. I highly recommend getting a cart from them. Their carts are much less expensive and saved us lots of walking and lots of time. And you're going to be plenty of walking at Disney World, so don't worry about being a slug. You'll get your miles in.

Compared to the hotel options, the RV is very economical. And, considering that Rob does all of the set up and take down, it's simple. Basically, they deliver your hotel room to you.

Take the kids, rent the RV, and have a blast.
