Just found this thread - thanks so much to the OP the question and others for the quick tips. We are in the process of getting a new to us RV and although we have no WDW trips planned, I'm starting to go through to see what the experience will be like camping.
Like a PP, we are also planning a trip up to Maine, through other New England states first, this summer (part of our bucket list to hit all 50 states!), so I'll add my hope for any tips getting up there as well. I'm seeing that whatever I can do to get from Indy into Connecticut and avoid 95 is well worth it. If I'd have thought about it for five seconds I'd have come to that conclusion, but I'm only looking at map sites so, well, didn't think yet.
Again, many thanks!

Welcome Aerin!
ETA: I live in CT, lest you couldn't gather that

Ditto what Paul said about getting up here from Indy.
Also, if you've never done any driving in New England, just prepare to take a deep breath and take your time with some of our quirks. I've heard of many an RV-er taking off a mirror or paint or what have you through Mass toll booths. Take your time and be careful and you'll be fine. Another one is our rotarys/roundabouts/traffic circles - they can be nervewracking but don't get worked up and you'll be fine. Our streets tend to be a little narrow in places as well.
If you don't have an EZ-Pass, I would recommend getting one. They work for many states' toll systems (not Florida, though...yet at least...that project seems to be on hold indefinitely). CT doesn't have tolls at all (but our gas taxes are really high), but you'll hit tolls in MA, ME, and I think NH too if memory serves correctly.
Also to note, most of the state parks up here don't have any hook-ups. Learning to dry camp is a real positive and can get you into some gorgeous places (if your rig isn't too big of course). VT has some spectacular state parks.
You'll want to book early for wherever you plan to go. The season is short and lots of the prime spots get gobbled up quickly.
Give me a shot if you want some regional recommendations!
