Rustic SE birthday trip?

My best friend's husband is giving her a ladies only birthday party trip for her birthday. He will be paying for travel expenses and lodging. However, he has left all the planning to me and one of my other friends. We have no idea where to start because we have never done anything like this before. I was wondering if anyone has had an experience renting cabins or staying in a little rustic type hotel in either Georgia, South Carolina, or Florida for a reasonable price?

Blue Ridge, Georgia is a great place to go for a weekend. There are plenty of cabin rentals and the town itself is very cute with some nice restaurants. You can go for hikes, visit an orchard, etc.

I love Asheville NC and visiting Biltmore...Americas largest home...great restaurants on the grounds...cute shops next to it in Asheville village
Then drive on the Blue ridge parkway
