Hello,

I'm thinking about purchasing a pair of running sunglasses, and was curious if anyone has suggestions. There are so many options to choose from and I wanted to know what everyone else is wearing.:cool2:

Which do you like (or don't like) and how much were they? Why do you like them?

I'm an Asian woman so I have flatter nose bridge - I don't know if that'll make much difference.

Thanks in advance!

I have been wearing Oakley sport glasses for many years....first for competitive tennis, and now for running . I purchased a pair last fall specifically for running and they have been great in comfort and keeping my eyes well protected from sunshine/ UV rays. They have several styles specific for running and the eyeglass specialist should be able to help you choose the right ones for your face.

I currently am using Tifosi. If you're running the disney marathon, they have polychromatic lenses which are basically transitions sunglasses, kind of convenient seeing as you run through sunrise.

I also like Oakleys. They fit my face really well (no sliding around) and they are light-weight. My current pair is 10 years old and is still in great condition. Unfortunately the frames I like are no longer made :sad1:, so I'm nervous about finding a pair I like as much as the ones I have when the time comes.

Thank you for the advices - I'll try on the 2 brands that were mentioned...the transitioning lense sounds like it'll come in handy :)

I too run in Oakley and so does my wife, my mother runs in Ryders but is concidering a switch to Oakley. If you can find a retailer that carries several brands or a large selection of Oakley they can set you up with a good fit.
I wear Oakley Half Jacket XLJ, my wife and mother wear Half Jacket. I see as I am writing this Oakley now has a asian fit:

I dont know what the avaliblilty is around where you are.

I use Ryders and like them well enough. Light and I like the coverage.

Thank you!!! I didn't know there were brands that specifically made Asian fit sunglasses! I'll have to try them out - the fit on the nose has always been the hard part for me.
