Once Steve finished, we decided to let Kira, Josh and Zoe head to Epcot while we rode the RD bus back to POR.
Apparently, that was not at all difficult for them to get to. (I worried since we were in a parking lot how they could get to the park). The only thing I know they did was ride TT.
Meanwhile, Steve and I sat on the bus and waited to head back to our room. It wasn't too long and we were on our way.
When we arrived back to the room, the first thing I expected to see was Alex awake and ready for the day. This was not the case.

This meant that not only did Steve and I need to shower and get ready for breakfast, but so did Alex. I had not planned for this when picking a time for breakfast.
We tried to hurry the best we could. Steve was moving rather slow and so was Alex. I was not feeling up to being task master. I was starting to feel a tad stressed though about getting to breakfast on time since we were quickly approaching the time of the reservation.
As we left the room, Steve and I took a turn toward the parking lot since we were driving the rental to breakfast. Alex had not paid attention to our instructions. He turned the opposite direction. Leading our small pack, I did not notice. I reached the car and sat inside. Soon Steve got into the car. Then we waited. We waited some more. Oh, yes... and we waited some more. I was not sure what could have happened to my dear son. The parking lot was almost visible from our room. I knew it could not take him THAT long to reach the car, so I decided to go hunt for him. Given that we were running very late by this point and that I didn't feel like walking any more than I had to I was not happy to have to hunt for him. POR is not the smallest of resorts. I did find him though and we go back to the car and on our way.
On our way but I neglected to realize that marathon weekend had impacted what roads were open. By the time we reach BW, we were late. VERY late. I think 40 minutes? And by this time, Kira and Josh were getting very antsy waiting on us. However, there was not much I could do. Parking was a challenge. Unlike other resorts where we just showed our band or the resort slip from POR we had to answer a bunch of questions. Finally we were allowed to park. It seemed as though it was not a close walk. I hustled, but neither the guys were willing to do so.
When we finally arrived, Kouzzina had closed its doors for breakfast. We were told that since they still had customers though and that since we had had a reservation (that Kira, Josh and Zoe had actually made it on time for)they would still serve us. Given that Kouzzina is closing I am really glad that they were able to accommodate us given that I will never be able to dine here again.
There really was not that many people in the restaurant and our server was quite distracted. I seem to recall items that we ordered not actually being brought to the table until we reminded her. Still, it was a good breakfast.
Josh's waffles were amazing! I got a little bite and would really have liked more!
I got my "usual"
I wasn't able to eat all of my breakfast. I am not sure why my stomach just didn't want much. Steve was feeling the same way. So neither of us could eat everything.
After we were done, we went outside onto the boardwalk. Alex went to take left overs to the car and Josh went to search in the bushes near the lake.

That boy can't stay out of bushes...always looking for critters. I love him so I deal with it... but really I would prefer he didn't do it.
Meanwhile, the rest of us watched the show. Show? Yes, local birds that decided that empty yet set tables outside were a perfect spot for a little mischief. The almost seemed to work together. There were a couple birds that were taking packets of sweetener out of the dish and flipping them onto the table. Other birds then would fly off with them and try and open them. There were birds on the awning with lots of packet... trying ever so hard to get out whatever reward they could. The table cloth and center piece were also a target for these birds. They picked at it until the entire table looked as though... well, as though a flock of birds had spent some time making a mess of it. Finally a cm came out and we explained what was happening. She quickly shoed them away and cleaned up the tables.
It was taking Alex some time and given his misturn earlier I worried. Just about the time I was getting ready to go hunt him down, he returned. We then collected Josh and walked to Epcot.
Once in Epcot we walked around WS a bit. For whatever reason, what I was really craving was an adult beverage. Nothing with hard alcohol mind you, but something... There in UK, I found a hard pare cider. OMG! That hit the spot so much more than the food. It made me feel so much better. I am not entirely sure why.
We walked a bit more and Steve decided he could not go on. He insisted that he needed to be taken back to POR.
I talked Kira into riding with me. So we left Josh, Alex and Zoe in Epcot while we ran Steve back to the room so he could nap.
While we were gone, they rode... TT.
Once we got back to POR we left Steve and then took the bus back to Epcot.
I think we must have all had fp+ reservations for TT, because we too then rode TT before meeting back up with the rest of our group.
