Thanks everyone!!
I'm just trying to keep up with Amy!! Haven't quite mastered the 2 hours of Pilates + 4-6 mile run all in one day yet....or was that 3 hours and 8 miles? Or maybe ski machine, pilates and a walk? Ugh...too much
And Kim, as for the Pilates...i'm switching back and forth between two DVD's right now (thanks Netflix!). I'll be taking a real class here in a week or so but for now I'm learning the ropes and I think I'm doing pretty good (DVD instructors don't really talk back too much). I HIGHLY recommend "Pilates for Dummies" for a great intro to the basic routine and a pretty good intermediate workout (maybe Amy can chime in here with a professional opinion)...it's based on the Power Pilates technique. The other one I'm doing is a Core Challenge workout by Stott...it's cool because there is a dude doing it along with a girl

The workout is a lot more intense than either one on the dummies video...I've found a mix between the two is my best bet right now
Warning: Pilates when done correctly is a really tough workout!!
Anyway...I got out there for an 8 mile run today. That capped off a 32 mile weekend

: (20 bike, 4 walk, 8 run).
Now I'm focused on the Gobble Jog 10k this Thursday morning...gonna set my week's training up accordingly: rest day on Monday...4 mile run + pilates Tuesday...rest or 30 min elliptical + pilates Wednesday....10k race on Thursday + Pilates....possible rest day on Friday....7 mile walk + Pilates on Saturday....14 mile run on Sunday
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
