Running at AKL

Is there a good place to run at AKL other than the treadmill at the health club or doing circles in the parking lot?

Up and down the L-O-N-G hallways, lol!
I am not sure -- I have never seen a walking trail or anything, but they do have a HUGE parking lot.

Not really -- there isn't anywhere you can even WALK from AKL. I think you summed it up with the health club and the parking lot. Recreation is definitely the weak point of AKL.

Shells9 and Erikthewise were right. You basically only have the health club and parking lot. AKL is an amazingly beautiful resort but there is no place for us humans to roam. My husb and I felt trapped while there. We missed having the resort grounds to stroll around. Even after very long days in the parks, we missed not being able to take evening walks around the property.

I totally agree. I didn't think the isolation would bother me, but it did. Personally I wouldn't jog in the parking lot. Could be dangerous.

If you have your heart set on staying at AKL, why not just visit another resort in the evening, and run there?
