We have yet to make a rope drop (my dad just won't cooperate with the plan...ugh) so we've been about an hour late most days (around 10) and bag check has been mostly ok everywhere but AK yesterday was bad.

Didn't see a line for small bags. Just no bags or bags.

Did you happen to notice if they're making everyone in the "no bags" line empty their pockets and go through the metal detector? I saw people reporting that was happening at Epcot a week or two ago. Just wondering if that was still happening and if it was going on at all the parks.

When we were at Epcot last week, ALL adults were being sent through the metal detectors. I believe at MK as well. Don't remember that being the case at HS or AK.

When we were there in April, we didn't see any "small bag" line either. All the lines moved fairly quickly - and practically every day, one of us got the "special" treatment of going through the metal detector - I guess we just looked shifty...ha ha ha. It became a joke trying to figure out which would get "honored" each day....

My mom was picked twice and I've been picked once!

We'll be at MK. We have a midday break scheduled though so we will be back to the resort around 1 or 2 probably. Then we have Chef Mickey's at 5:30 and then back to MK. Are you guys sticking around the resort?

It will just be me tomorrow and I should get in around 1pm. The rest of the gang gets there on Friday. I don't really have any plans for tomorrow. Hopefully my room will be ready when I get there so I can settle in but if not, I will be looking for something to do.

I drive down tomorrow!!!! So excited!!!!

In the end of May at park opening they were letting people with SMALL bags go through the no bag line with a quick look. Just do it discreetly and don't push the envelope of small bag

Did anyone else see the article saying tsa should take tips from disney on queue management! I don't have one complaint from our trip, security was thorough and really little to no wait

Thanks - we will just stick with the bag line unless directed by Disney to go elsewhere. We've done it many times. It was reported on the boards about a month or ago that they had a separate line for small bags at some of the parks(which I have been suggesting for years now) so I was just checking to see if they are still doing this.

It is a very good idea to have one! With still having an infant I look forward to the small bag line days!

We'd like Disney to take charge of the metro track work in DC... actually, of just about anything done in DC!!! People say this all the time here!
