Ok guys... this is THE most thing I've ever posted here but can't resist!!!!!

Today is my birthday, and it also happened to be the annual luncheon for the nonprofit I am on the Board of. MAJOR coup for us, Oprah Winfrey was our keynote speaker -- already a HUGE deal!

At the end of her speech, she announced that she was donating $1M!!!!!!!!!!!

A total surprise to all of us -- this will do so much good for homeless women in this city -- I am just SO grateful!!!!

That is amazing! Can I ask what your nonprofit is? What great work you are doing and the awareness your bringing to your cause! I bet you thought getting oprah to speak was one of the best days of your life, then suprise here is a small donation, of a MILLION dollars!

THANKS!! Yes!! It was such a shock -- what a wonderful shock, right?!?! We've just grown a great deal, adding a program that serves over 200 more women who would otherwise be homeless in Washington, DC. Still basking in it all today, I think... what this will mean for all of these wonderful women, brave enough to seek the help that they need to take the next steps that they need to in their lives. They are truly an inspiration.

I am still waiting impatiently for the Star Wars dessert parties for July. This is so irritating. I notice they now have a dining package for MSEP. I have no interest in that, however, has anyone heard if they are letting people stay in the special dining package area after MSEP to view wishes? I may be interested in dining package if that was the case....but not for just MSEP.

Hmmm, well there goes that idea lol. I don't care enough about seeing MSEP for a dining package. I take it the dining package area is near town hall then? Not near hub?
