Guys....

No more Disney in April.

I'm slightly bummed, but we got a call today that DH's very best friend from childhood (his best man) is going to be in Boca Raton the weekend of our trip, and DH pretty much got on his hands and knees and begged if we could skip Disney and go spend more time on the beach with his family. I definitely couldn't say no. So, we cancelled everything (it's so painful pressing the cancel button!) and we're booked 4 nights in Boca (actually it's Deerfield beach), and our remainder of time in the Melbourne area.

So, we're totally beaching it up!

Anyway it's a long 254 days till Disney.

(Almost teary, but this is for my husband and his very best friend. At least we're still in Florida!)

But I'll carry on with this banter, because it's fun!

*hug* I know that must have been so hard, but it's wonderful of you to do that for your husband, and I'm sure it will be a wonderful vacation! One bright side is all the crazy unknowns should be settled by then! ... and others will probably take their place!

But I just read a thread where someone booked FP today for 60 days out and Mission Space at Epcot is back to tier 2 for her travel dates. So....like the rumors I've read, I'm thinking FEA is definitely planned for May 27th. The A&E FP for MK is also unavailable starting May 27th. Nothing really new, but confirmation that that's the date they are shooting for, I'm speculating.

There's also speculation Soarin could reopen around that time but with the old movie because they don't want to show the new one until it debuts in Shanghai. That would really throw a wrench in my plans because I wrote Soarin off and changed one of my Epcot days to a PM half day, planning to use my FP at DHS. Hmmmm.....

I checked a few minutes ago and Mission Space was still a tier 1 for May 9. Have MK A&E booked for May 8. I guess they'll hold up. I will never ever go in May again. This is a mess.

So....like the rumors I've read, I'm thinking FEA is definitely planned for May 27th. The A&E FP for MK is also unavailable starting May 27th. Nothing really new, but confirmation that that's the date they are shooting for, I'm speculating.

There's also speculation Soarin could reopen around that time but with the old movie because they don't want to show the new one until it debuts in Shanghai. That would really throw a wrench in my plans because I wrote Soarin off and changed one of my Epcot days to a PM half day, planning to use my FP at DHS. Hmmmm.....

Ooohh, good to know for a "just DD and me" mini-trip planned for 5/31 - 6/1. *crosses fingers* I seriously hope I can get 2 of 3: FEA, A&E meet, Soarin... but they'll probably all be tier 1.. we're FP+ing A&E at MK this trip, so I'd rather FEA and Soarin!

Yeah. I saw where someone had posted that. My evening EMH after our water park day at HS on May 27 has now tentively become an Epcot evening to give me 2 days for Epcot FP (May 27 and 28). Really want Soarin' for my first timers, and FEA for me!

Do we know that A&E M&G will end in MK when it opens in Epcot or will they be meeting in both locations? Hard to imagine they remove these ever so popular princesses from MK.

Since they were originally in Epcot then moved to MK and booted out the other princesses on fairy tale hall, it is assumed that they'll be moved back to Epcot. That will also increase the likelihood of parents with small children planning timeat Epcot they may not have otherwise. -- but the more I learn about Disney, the more I learn that we can't assume anything.

What I'd really like to see is Anna and Elsa greeting at Akershus, with Belle and the Beast at BOG. If Cinderella can be at CRT and FTH, A & E should be able to be at Akershus and their new Norway m&g spot.

Granted my DS has 2 older sisters which certainly explains this, but Elsa is the princess he wants to see (apparently moving on from his redhead Ariel phase). Thank goodness he told me BEFORE our FP window opened or I would have scheduled that M&G during his nap and given him something else.

And now that I'm thinking about it, I wonder if this has anything to do with Ava, his blonde haired blue eyed inseparable preschool buddy. She looks a little Elsa like. Hmmmm.

I took the weekend off. Trying to decide if I should set the alarm for tomorrow...

Are not to be in both locations. Has been discussed at MK Fantasyland meetings that they will leave the MK and Aurora and Snow White are to return to FTH - where they belong. Keeping them in MK would be totally counterproductive to the whole reason they are building in Epcot ... get young families to go to Epcot.

From who? The information coming out this week from the "sources" are saying that it will open in mid June at both US parks, after it opens in Shanghai. They had a deal that Shanghai would have it first. They are supposed to open June 16 so best guess is at least the 17th.

That's interesting. The original opening was set at 1st of May for both. I heard FEA is pretty much complete and to expect soft openings any day now (Next couple of weeks). However the M&G had some delays but the latest there looks as if they've gotten a wiggle on but still looks a fair few weeks off.

They are independent of each other so could be a split opening. The 27th does sound feasible for FP though. As I'm sure the first few weeks will be run as stand by only. 5 hour wait times for sure lol.

Oh don't say that! My DS7 is madly in love with Elsa. My DD could care less about Frozen XD Haven't told him he could actually meet Elsa until we score a FP+ for it. If we don*t, then he's not gonna meet her!

That's the rumor. And A&E FP are not available at MK starting 5/27.

My 4.5 yr old told me he wanted to meet them when my parents and I were discussing the most popular FP. And I was like, what? Ok. If that's what you want. Then he said, "Haha. Just kidding!"

Just speculation. Because I guess there are rumors that the expansion will be done by end of May but yes, new show can't show until June 17. So speculation is they *may* reopen early with the old film and switch the film on June 17.
