It's just mostly me complaining about if I want to try for the really exclusive event on Friday or the not so exclusive, but still exclusive, event on Sunday. You didn't miss much.

I see it listed on the HUB, the hold up is that they are not sure if it'll be done

yes, park closes at 6:30pm Sunday at 7pm

I have to say though, I'm totally amazed most of them weren't poofed. That's not how they usually handle things, it's happyville there.
Someone must get that it's reasonable this is kinda frustrating.

Maybe they are hoping more will comment and "shame" those who are only interested in planning every waking moment of their trip...like most of us...HA HA HA...those comments really make me laugh and think, "NEWBEE" in big blinking letters!

So I think your answer is that you get a long road ahead of you until you're next title haha.

Indeed. I changed mine back when some people started complaining that there were too many new special ticketed events... and that they were all too expensive... and that Disney was now somehow RUINING the "regular" guest experience by having all of these things... you can guess that I disagree...

I'm in the same boat - but not because I'm doing anything as ambitious as a marathon (or half marathon?) - just arrival day on 15th (and $ concerns). But I am attracted to shiny objects and would also like a lanyard!

Soooo, reflecting on my errands - will we need a new "Lucky to Score a Preview Party Trying to Re-work my Entire April Trip Strategies" thread, or can we continue to clutter this one? Because, frankly, I am going to need some opinions!

That is, if I am lucky enough - a big if! And if it's ready - apparently a bigger if?

So I've been doing a comparison of the premiere versus preview events and this is how it plays out:

What the premiere gets that the preview doesn't:
-lanyard
-half as many people in attendance
-included food and beverage from flame tree and harambe
-half an hour of extra party time
-fp for nighttime safari

Unless I'm reading this wrong, the preview events get 3.5 hours of access to rides and the premiere only gets 1 hour (then whenever your safari fp is for). Does that seem odd to you @yulilin3

See, and I was wondering why you go from DIS Veteran to the ticket event - it made no sense
