How would the Dining Package work for Flame Tree BBQ? How do you reserve Counter Service?
BOG has taken ADRs for counter service for a long time.

Maybe the first show is at 7pm or 8pm? They are probably going to extend park hours
Dinner starts at 4pm so people can book from 4pm on making sure that their booking time is at least 2.5 hours before the show.In April, it's not dark until about 8:30pm.

copy/paste from what I'm looking at:I don't doubt that, but 4 PM is far earlier than 8:30PM.
What I'm saying is that I don't understand why the 4PM start of ADRs is an obvious direct connection to the show.
This looks a lot like what was posted on another thread except it listed all 3 meals and Flame Tree. Much of the wording is the same, which makes me think they either modified or are starting with a "testing" phase. The part that says "The Rivers of Light Dining Package provides Guests with a choice of dining experiences at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park and reserved seating to the new nighttime show Rivers of Light" is interesting bc with what you are posting, there is no choice. So I'm leaning toward this is testing with more options in the future. Could also be a result of a full slate of filled ADRs for the time being at the other meals.copy/paste from what I'm looking at:

My TA thinks they could just do it all at once...announce ROL, extended hours, and the dining pkg...bc that's how Disney seems to do things. But who really knows, except those in charge? If they are going to take reservations tomorrow wouldn't they have to extend park hours beyond 5 PM for May? I'm there first weekend and park closes every night between 5 & 6.
I haven't been following anything else but when you mentioned Flame Tree I just checked and it's the same thing, again copy/paste straight from the pageThis looks a lot like what was posted on another thread except it listed all 3 meals and Flame Tree. Exactly. Maybe that's why they're not including RoL packages...
On the HUB it looks like the first available day for the dinner package is April 22nd...
Maybe they are just trying to fill the early dinner void by having you dine 2.5 hours before the 1st show? The first time available looks to be 4 pm
that's just the starting time for Dinner at Tusker house. No other meals have any indication that they will be linked to RoL, only Dinner at TH and Flame Tree...I guess we're going to have to wait for DPB to announceAgain, I don't doubt any of this.
The reason I ASKED about the above is that automatically drawing a conclusion from a 4PM dinner start-tme would not necessarily lead
directly to assuming it was for a show that starts at 8PM, or later.
That's all I'm asking about.

Thank you so much for all this info!!first date available for booth Tusker House and Flame Tree seems to be April 22nd. which is Earth Day. There seems to be a special preview event on the 16th and 17th. no dinning opportunities are associated with the preview and I have no clue who will be able to attend that
