I'll be up early tomorrow at 4:55am (Central Time) to see if ROL Dining Packages are available, then up late booking FP+ with our 60-day window opening at 11pm (Central Time).

For Fantasmic, you are taken to the correct place if you do a search using
"Fantasmic! Dining Package". Unless someone here posts otherwise, I plan on using my search bar to look for "Rivers of Light Dining Package".

Here's hoping they update the page by tomorrow to indicate if the "2 DDP credit" rumor at Tusker House is true. If it is, I'm not booking. If not, I am.

On the HUB it looks like the first available day for the dinner package is April 22nd. There's no price change between this and the regular buffet dinner. If interested I would start calling today and asking if it's opened for booking.
They might just be finalizing all the details.
Adult: $44.73, Child: $26.63 including tax but not gratuity
Maybe they are just trying to fill the early dinner void by having you dine 2.5 hours before the 1st show? The first time available looks to be 4 pm

I know the timing wording is a bit unclear (and cause for debate today!). I wonder if it means you have to dine *at least* 2.5 hours before ROL (rather than "dinner is 2.5 hours before ROL)--this would totally fit with how F! dinner packages are timed (it's usually an early dinner or lunch) leaving plenty of time to finish your meal well in advance of the show you're getting priority seats for.

I guess (hope!) we all find out soon

This is so confusing, our animal kingdom day is the 25th, we are dining at AK with a lunch adr at Tusker House. We have a late dinner at 8pm at Ohana. I was planning to switch to Tiffins with a ROL package if I could but still can't get any info on Tiffins and don't want to cancel at Ohana without a Tiffins adr.

Any ideas on the showtimes for ROL? Looks like we'll have to miss Ohana.

I counted about 100 (relatively) short rows of bench seating at RoL.
At Fantasmic!, there are over 300 (mostly long) rows of bench seating.

good news. I have a Tusker House lunch ressie for Monday, 5/9 but would gladly change it to include this. Is the payment do upfront or just a credit card to hold the ressie?

Again, I don't doubt any of this.
The reason I ASKED about the above is that automatically drawing a conclusion from a 4PM dinner start-tme would not necessarily lead
directly to assuming it was for a show that starts at 8PM, or later.

That's all I'm asking about.

It looks like they want the last available dining slot for TS to be 2.5 hours before the show. The flame tree one says 1.25 hours (I think). So, if 6:30 is the latest available time to book, they must have figured the seating availability and came to the conclusion that they would want 2.5 hours of package dining available ... Hence the 4 pm start time. At least, that's the only way it makes sense to me.

Just wondering if the ROL Dining Packages for Tuskers will be limited given the other ADRs that have already been taken for dinner. We have an existing dinner ADR that I am afraid to cancel until I see the ROL dining package available.
