Did I read correctly that this would be a "test" package of sorts at first?? Any idea if when they open this it will open all the way through August?

Yeah she said it's a test and no other details.

I spoke with a CM in dining this morning and they said they do not have any information or dates in which the dining packages will be released I guess it depends who you get on the phone.

Yeah the CM I talked to didn't know at first but as we talked she was curious her self and did some digging around and found out what she told me.

On the HUB it looks like the first available day for the dinner package is April 22nd. There's no price change between this and the regular buffet dinner. If interested I would start calling today and asking if it's opened for booking.
They might just be finalizing all the details.
Adult: $44.73, Child: $26.63 including tax but not gratuity

I just called and it is showing up in the CMs search engine but there's no info with it as of yet. She asked a supervisor and she said as of now there is nothing but to keep checking and watch the Disney blog. She did say it is showing an April 17 preview but what that means she didn't know.

Meaning that the listing might pop up "soon."

Just called dining to tweak a breakfast a bit (since I got an error message every time I tried to make the change online this morning ~yet another morning of MDE problems!(((((!

I asked the CM if the Tusker/ROL dining package was available and she said not yet but gave me no more info.

Thankfully we are not going until end of August. Although there are downsides to that hot humid hurricaney time of year this is one of the upsides. Usually all the spring/early summer changes shake themselves out in plenty of time of me having to solidify my plans and fp reservations.

Many of them probably legitimately don't know.

Phone CMs aren't the best-informed, and even most parks/resorts CMs haven't really been told much related to ROL yet, so unless they've been digging through the Hub for information, they probably don't know much.
