You win the prize! It may be the looney bird prize though Unfortunately, South America is in about the same time zone as most of the US, so you aren't gaining the Europe advantage. Next time plan a trip to Europe when this occurs Hope you are having a great time. I definitely want to visit Machu Picchu sometime. We will probably get back to Chile in the next couple of years to visit my FIL family. DS have never been yet.

It's been amazing! I speak very limited Spanish, so quite an adventure . I've never been to South America before, but is been beautiful thus far and I'm absolutely thrilled for Machu Picchu...I won't be checking once we arrive (not that crazy!) so I really hope Disney puts them up early or not at all. Chile sounds wonderful--I hope to make it there for my next trip

Beautiful! At this point, I feel that regardless of whether I actually "see" ROL on this trip, I will need to purchase a ROL souvenir because I feel that on some level, I have experienced the magic of ROL, even if it was only via the memorable live blog and staring at the Coming Soon page!

I barely slept last night between checking the MDE app and my baby beating the crap out of me, and so far today I am having the day from hell. I (quite irrationaly) blame the whole thing on Disney and their crappy communication.

I asked DH to confirm, and the tickets he has are definitely for April 15th, and they say "premium preview" on them. So there is definitely something on the 15th! The 16th and 17th I don't know about. I text my other friend who is working on the production side of things for RoL and she confirmed a preview on the 15th, but other than that she has no idea, I think she's just hoping they're ready on time!

I really hope that something, anything really, is released tomorrow.

My kids (DD9, DS11) are still bitter that it's in the place of Maelstrom! That said... since it's at Disney, and it's new, we'll definitely ride! And we all loved the movie... DD is just already acting like that was when she was "just a little kid"... she's SO MATURE now, at the ripe old age of 9!

You're like my Disney doppelganger - kids the same age and they feel the same way! Everyone enjoyed Frozen, but never into all of it. Both bitter about Maelstrom! I wanted to buy my son the "Maelstrom - Never Forget!" t-shirt but I couldn't remember where I saw it! I would enjoy riding it, but it's definitely lower on my priority list...

Question for those who have spoken to a CM this morning that said preview events would go on sale tomorrow: did they say they would go on sale online, or we'd have to call? And if they are online, exactly where would they be located? Under special events or under dining?

Ok, been watching/stalking with many of you for our May trip. now I need to add time for chasing down pins, popcorn buckets...I would love a beach towel with the RoL logo on it, I need to bring extra spending money! Planning a WDW trip is getting to be very time consuming but I can't seem to help myself!

Question for those who have spoken to a CM this morning that said preview events would go on sale tomorrow: did they say they would go on sale online, or we'd have to call? And if they are online, exactly where would they be located? Under special events or under dining?

My CM said either, but she couldn't answer the latter part about where online. I was trying to specify if the dining packages and preview parties would pop up in the same place or if I should be looking in two different places, as I think a preview party is more likely for me if they don't start the dining packages immediately, but she didn't seem able to answer that - she kept telling me that she had limited information. She had different days than some of the other people have reported - a premium preview on 4/15 and just one other event on 4/16. I am hoping that she is ill-informed, since I need 4/17!

Thanks for the info. I guess I'll just check one first and then the other, unless someone posts differently on here. I just want tickets to either the 16th or 17th in case I can't go to the event on the 15th.

I just read yesterday that construction is behind at the Frozen ride and they may be pushing that back until the fall.... It was on David's DVC Rentals facebook page....

Here is the exact text of that facebook post:

Looks like the Frozen attraction being built in Norway at Epcot still has a ways to go. I took this shot a couple of days ago. The opening date for the new ride was originally May 2016 but now I'm hearing it will take a little longer. There was a fire at the construction site in September of 2015 (luckily with no injuries), I don't know if that had any affect on the construction delay, but it certainly is possible. ~ Marilyn

ETA: Nowhere in that post or the comments does it mention Fall. Rumors of it being pushed to June are already out there.

Ugh so I just got off the phone with a CM to modify some reservations and of course asked about ROL dining package snd she said it will be available to book tomorrow. No rest for the weary.

I'd prefer the 15th only bc I will already be up early for work, as tomorrow is a sleep in day - well as much as my two under 5 let me. With that being said, if it is tomorrow, at least we will all know the details and some can get things booked and we can go on with our lives (or get obsessed about something else Disney related...lol). This is ruining my life! Well, not really, but you know what I mean...haha.

Saturday is our day for FP+ -- keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well with the website.
