OH I THINK YOU NAILED IT - they just happened to release a potentially bogus (last springs) ROL package page, had all the bloggers, tweeters, posters going nuts trying to validate a May 1 date while they prepared to release this. BRILLIANT! - is the old Disney back?......

Fly into the holidays at the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Holiday Party at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.Celebrate a tinsel-town holiday with family and friends at this themed holiday party set amongst the iconic Chinese Theater. Enjoy holiday inspired snacks, decedent desserts, wine, beer and specialty alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and mingle with a VIP character. Wrap up the evening with reserved viewing for the all-new holiday spectacular, Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! featuring iconic music and projected holiday movie moments accompanied by fireworks and special effects.

Booking Event Time: Event will start 1 hour prior to the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Holiday Spectacular. Show times vary. Please check the calendar for dates and times.

Booking Dates: Daily, November 14, 2016 – December 10, 2016

Block out dates : Nov.16,17

Holiday Party Location: The holiday partyis located amidst The Great Movie Ride. The event will be both outdoor and indoor, primarily in the courtyard in front of the attraction and also inside the main entrance foyer of the attraction.

The event will be mostly standing tables, seating will be limited.

The holiday party will be moved to an indoor location in the event of inclement weather. Guests should proceed to the original event location for information regarding event re-location.

Check-in: Guests may check-in 15 minutes prior to the event start time in front of The Great Movie Ride

Booking Time is1hour prior to the fireworks

Where: Disney's Hollywood Studios

Pricing: $69 Adults, $39 Child (ages 3yrs - 9yrs), inclusive of gratuity and tax

Menu: An assortment of holiday-themed snacks and desserts, specialty alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, wine, beer sodas, water, tea and coffee

And the search-and-rescue mission to get The Big Guy back to the North Pole in time for Christmas Eve is all part of the fun in the all-new “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” holiday spectacular coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios November 14. The show comes to life on, above and around the Chinese Theater with state-of-the-art projections, special effects, fireworks and a rousing seasonal musical score.

Led by elves Wayne and Lanny, the duo from ABC/Walt Disney Animation Studios’ animated special “Prep & Landing,” the spirited yuletide adventure to the North Pole features memorable holiday moments from Disney films including “Mickey’s Christmas Carol,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Pluto’s Christmas Tree,” “Bambi,” Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and more, all building to a festive finale that’s “So tinsel!”

And did I mention there will be snow?

A sweet way to enjoy this new holiday spectacular is with the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Holiday Dessert Party, which includes reserved viewing, desserts, specialty beverages and more. Each dessert party guest will get a pair of 3D HoloSpex® glasses to use while watching the show. The glasses create spectacular holographic illusions of gingerbread men, candy canes, snowflakes and ornaments on any bright point of light.

I think it is awful for them to pull this after some of us have been planning for almost a year, and really wanted to end our trip with the SW dessert party. We are not one bit interested in this Holiday event...now trying to switch out FPs and ADR for another park. Limited choices with the Christmas Party going in MK, and everything else closes early. Dang!!!!

I'm sat on hold trying to get tickets to this DHS dessert party holiday thing - I'm not a dessert party person AT ALL, I hate them, but I think my 3-year old will like the show and I think this might be the easiest way to see it. Plus, there's wine. For every person who writes on the other thread that they got a clueless CM or got cut off or told it was sold out when it's not, I wonder if they're talking to Maggie!

I was on hold for 30 mins and am now on with someone who cannot figure out how to get it. She's trying her best though. It's possible it's already sold out? I'm trying for 12/1.

It might be I guess - it must be somewhat limited and they've only released about four weeks worth of dates so far. I mean, you can still go and see the show without the dessert package, it just might be hard to get a good spot - I hear that's an issue with the Star Wars show.

Whew - one hour on the phone, and I did get it booked! The woman figured out that she needed to input all of my personal information before it would show availability. Evidently they don't always have to do that. So excited it went through!

AK hours have been extended to 7:30 starting on 11/20. Extra half hour. Same day Dinosaur Fast Passes become available.

Yay. Booked JBJB Sunday 11/20. I especially enjoy that the tax and gratuity was included in the price! And since it is HS, those drinks can be adult drinks if desired Sad that 11/16 was a blackout date as that would have been perfect. But as long as ROL doesn't appear, 11/20 works well.
