Thank you for at least verifying I was not going crazy or delusional from so many days of angst over awaiting ROL that I was now making thigs up to post. The CM I had seemed on the ball and knowledgable. I really thought the tide had turned. Silly me

This day has not started out well - pulling into a driveway to post inaccurate CM info then unposting it, getting back on the road i almost missed the train had to run to make it.

I need an emoji banging the phone receiver!

Again so very sorry -I meant well.

Any of us would have done the same exact thing!!

Wish I'd gotten Maggie this morning. She wouldn't have told me i can't book an august dining package yet -only booking Preview parties right now.

Instead I'm sure I'd hear "Oh you mean Fantasmic hon. Let me see what's available."

I think I'd have turned it into a drinking game by now. For every person that mentioned Rivers of Light you get a shot.

WE'VE HIT A NEW LOW!

Called immediately when I saw @michelepa 's post. We begin and CM says, "Yes, booking PREVIEW PARTIES today" and we get started. 15th and 16th. She was looking up info about differences and we started the booking process.

AND THEN SHE PUT ME ON HOLD AND THEN CAME BACK AND SAID, "I'M SORRY, BOOKING FOR THE PREVIEW PACKAGES HAD BEEN DELAYED". And she could not give me any more information about when booking would become available again.

"Have a Fantasmic day!"

That would be fun, but seriously, NO WORRIES! I would have reported it too, and you were accurate. I WAS able to book it at the start of the phone call. To me, that's hopefully an indication that it's going to be soon! I kept asking her, "So, you're telling me that I could book it when I called, and now I can't - I just need to confirm that for my own sanity?" And she's like, "yes, pathetic woman, go tell your friends..."

Oh, and also, who joked earlier about when it's finally bookable, we won't know what to say?? When she first said, "Yes, I can book you for the 15th or 16th. What date are you looking for?" I started stammering, "Um, I don't know? This is all happening so fast!"

I would like to use dancing banana, but I feel that I must wait - I am hoping I can use it to celebrate some type of ROL victory!

Thanks on the Tigger pic - that trip was a couple of years ago - they were so cute at that age (They're still cute, but getting too big! Not too big for Tigger, but in a general sense!)

Isn't there a banana rule? You can't post the bananas unless you post 3 together ... because they get lonely celebrating on their own you know

WHERE'S THE RIVERS OF LIGHT INFORMATION ALREADY?! YOU STIFFED US WITH THE LIVE BLOG LAST WEEK, SO HURRY UP AND GIVE US WHAT WE REALLY WANT!

They still haven't posted my comment ... I just can't figure out why Seriously though, how do you find out if your comment is "pending"; I've never posted on the blog until now so I'm not sure how that works.

I'm yet another one that has been lurking on the thread. I will be making a short trek to WDW 5/19 - 5/22. It was originally planned as a SWW trip but when that got canceled we decided to make the best of things. Decided to do the Wild Africa Trek and now really hoping RoL is in full force with special dinner seating. We, of course, will be doing what Star Wars events and fireworks are available at HS but now thinking we will be spending a ton more time in AK. I am a fanatical planner and really hope Disney releases the info soon. I really feel for those going right around the opening date and are stuck with no info.

DH and I are going over part of the same period as you and we are scheduled to dot the Wild Africa Trek and are VERY excited about this. We have heard nothing but great things about it and can't wait to see for ourselves. Hope you enjoy your trip and

Wild Africa trek was horrible for me. I am scarred of birds and there was a bunch of vultures sitting on the bridge that you walk across. I ran until the guide was in my earpiece telling me had to stop until the person before me got across.

I was so close!

She could not tell me if it would start up again in a few hours or even today. But I confirmed with her that it was a go at the start of our conversation, and that the information changed DURING our call.

Thank you, @michelepa for the heads up - I will continue to call today and post if anything changes!

I wish I was confident that what happened this morning was sign of changes but based on what happened several days ago I don't think so. I think it was just a CM that didn't know they had been postponed.

If you read back to several days ago the same thing happened. Some of the CM thought they could book it until they went to actually do the booking and they got an error. That's when they realized it was not bookable yet. But only some CM tried. Most knew that it wasn't bookable and they didn't even try.
