Rumored deals???

Just go off the phone with CM. Dates up to March 27,2010. Our dates are April 27 to May 4. First she quoted me full price, then I mentioned the 4/3 deal and she said that they could not offer it unless it was asked about. Since I asked she said she could book it. When I mentioned my dates she said sorry but the deal was only to Mach 27th. She said to book my trip now so that I have a date booked and "just in case they extend the deal" they would add the deal to my reservation.

well the phone said that I have to wait at least 12 minutes now. Still waiting to talk to someone!

My numbers are not making sense to me. 1/22/2010 1/29/2010, we have 7 nights at CBR standard room. 2 adults, 2 children (6 and 3) with 8 day park hoppers and the standard dining plan. Total was 2566.14. Seems a bit higher than what I get when I price it out online.

What is everyone else getting with 2A and 2C at a moderate with dining?

Now that I've calmed down and looked at the numbers they aren't making any sense to me either. If I price 4 nights with tickets starting on my arrival date it's a couple hundred lower than what I was quoted. There is a room rate change the last two days of my trip so I then priced it for 7 nights, took the nightly average, and multipled by 4. Still around $100 less than my quote. And I confirmed that I do not have the travel insurance.

I guess I'll have to wait to get my confirmation and see if I can figure it out from there.

How are you figuring your price through the online system? You can't get an accurate estimate online if you're buying a dining plan. What you'll get is the price for 4 nights with the tickets you want plus 4 nights of dining. You still need to add in the additional 3 nights of dining to that cost to figure out your full price. That could account for the difference in your online estimate compared to what the CM is telling you. Make sure to manually add in the cost of the dining for those additional 3 nights.

Just a FYI, free dining is better for us. 5 disney "adults" staying 7 nights at BWI 7day base ticket with free dining $4251. 7/3 deal $4304.

I made a new reservation by calling and got the nicest guy there who booked my buy 4,get 3 free deal in January at the Poly. (CR's garden view is booked.) If there wasn't a deal, we wouldn't be able to stay onsite so now we're going to Disney World!!! Let the countdown begin!! :cool1:

just read on touring plans that they pulled the deal until it becomes available later this week. Darn, was just deciding on moving up to Moderates and giving them a call :confused3

Well, guess I will just figure it up on paper the best I can and wait til I can get on the phone with someone!!!! This is crazy!!

Good point for others but no dining plan for me.

I literally just got off the phone with the travel company and they were able to apply the 4/3 to my reservation. Staying at CBR 1/11-18, 2 adults, 2 children (16,2)-the 4/3 saved me $550 :woohoo:

Quoted price:
Buy 4 get 3 free
2 adults, 2 kids (7 and 5)
POFQ
1/11-1/18
Dining plan (standard)
MYWPH - 8 days
Total: $2582.28

- No code was needed, all the CM did was ask where I heard about the deal
- Disney Visa was NOT required to make reservation
- no $200 Gift card

OEO was the code she used (she was talking outloud to herself)

We weren't even planning a 2010 trip but I can't resist the 4/3 deal!!!

Just wondering if anyone has booked this deal but only for 5 or 6 nights? Is that a possibility?

I think you can, it is offered for "up to" 3 free nights. So if you stay for 5, you only get 1 night free, 6 nights, 2 free...But the MAX is 3 free nights when booking up to a 10 day stay.

I booked ASMu Family Suite for March 20 - 27, 2 adults & 1 child. No DDP, MYW tickets only. Total was $2,527.26. Seemed a bit high to me. I know it's only a 5/2 deal, but I guess we'll see when I get my confirmation.

I just got 4/3 applied to my January 2010 reservation. I had two rooms booked at CSR. I didn't need a code. I spoke with a very helpful DM named Mercy. I did have to specifically ask for the 4/3. She searched around and found the code.

For those of you hoping to get into CSR, I ended up switching to a 2BR Villa at SSR (hope it was the right decision...we're traveling with 8, me, DS, DMIL, DFIL, and our 4 DD). The kitchen and the laundry were big selling points for this decision.

If you're keeping score, the cost for 7 nights, 8 day parkhoppers, and DDP (basic) was $6,775. That worked out to a savings of almost $1700 from the standard cost (and I'm still paying less than I was intending to pay for the two rooms at CSR). That's about as good as free dining would have been.

I was told that Boardwalk villas and Beach Club villas were all gone, as were the Treehouse villas at SSR.

Good luck everyone.

Quick question. When 4/3 was offered last year was it originally for a certain number of months and then extended. The reason I ask is because we usually go when school is out in June and I am hoping it will be extended.

I'm just wondering if the deal would be applied if our check-in date is March 27th, or if travel must be completed by then. Any input? TIA

Oh no:sad1:. That's a bummer for those trying to get through. I wonder why they'd offer it for a couple of hours then pull it :confused3?

ok. 2 adults 6 day park hopper from March 11-18th
Poly garden view room
with basic dining plan
total was $3643.60

That is a HUGE savings considering that I had this package already booked and the total with no discount was $5351.26.

That is the best deal that I have ever gotten at WDW.

The CM asked where I heard about it and it took forever to confirm. She had to call guest services to make it go through.

So excited

Could you book a one day base ticket with the 4/7 deal? I had to buy a 4 day base ticket.
