I'm aware the are required in a few places around the country. I am on team "masks won't be required" and it is ok if you are on team "yes they will be." We can each have our own opinions.

On another post I actually wrote “if you don’t agree with me, that’s fine, but I have no interest in discussing it further.” And still got a response disagreeing with me.

It’s ok guys! We don’t have to agree! And arguing with each other won’t change minds!

Disney Shanghai Park started testing yesterday modifications with CMs:

• Temperature screenings
• Guests will now have their Health QR codes scanned. Only those guests with a green QR code will be allowed entrance into the resort.
• Guests being seated in a staggered fashion.
• Both guests and employees are required to wear face masks (except when dining)
• Taped off marks to indicate where guests can stand to follow social distancing
• Thorough cleaning and disinfecting

The only thing I'm wondering about is the picture that shows them on the coaster with only one person per row. It seems like they would let you ride with a family member or someone in your party who you're sharing living space with already anyway. I can see separating groups but figured I could sit by my husband for example. That would be something that would keep me from going now. We have reservations for late June. If it's open we were planning to go unless they required masks. So now I guess this is something else I need to watch for too. I wouldn't want to essentially be riding everything by myself.

From the measure I see in Shanghai, you'd only need 25-30% capacity crowd to gain the same wait times for rides as a 70-80% capacity crowd. Crowd calendars sites will have a fit.

Love to see how this would be done for some rides at WDW - like Splash or Kali. On the plus side I'll have 2 guns on Buzz and TSM.

Yeah that’s probably to just practice the staggering. So your party is together but staggered from another. I’ve been around some obnoxious wdw guests in many trips. I’m excited about the chance to be socially distanced from obnoxious guests in a cleaner park!

But if there are virtual queues it won’t be as bad to wait. And it’ll just be nice not to be shoulder to shoulder with ppl. The crowds had gotten absolutely out of control.

Of course they are. Either I'm not explaining what I mean or you are deliberately misunderstanding me. There is no way for a *guest* to prove they contacted Covid at a theme park. The workplace assumption wouldn't apply to them

Again, perception. They may not be able to prove it, but if a bunch of guests got sick who recently went to Disney, and if CM's in that same time period were also sick, it will look bad, proof or not. Guarantee Disney doesn't want to deal with that nightmare scenario.

Well than Disney might as well forget about opening because I can guarantee that people are going to catch this as contagious as it is.
