Rumor about “modified experiences” when Disney reopens (read 1st post for potential modifications being considered)

100%. Worker’s Compensation exclusivity provisions (that I assume all states have) would prevent an employee from suing Disney.

But they could file a comp claim against Disney. And the case would be stronger if Florida expanded their presumption beyond that of just frontline workers. Like I said, in PA, if you catch COVID and happen to work in a retail store, you can file a comp claim and there is a presumption that you caught it at work. It doesn’t appear to be that expansive in Florida yet, but we will see where it goes.

Sticking to my prediction they will be open by July.

States are beginning to reopen and as long as there isn’t some overwhelming wave of patients flooding hospitals in critical conditions we are looking at a return to normality sooner than later.

Big day for Georgia.

They probably ditched ESPN because of the potential of MLB or NBA being played there. This is really good news for the probabilty of parks being in soft open in late June.
I think the more large groups they cancel, the better off we are in regards to re-opening. The last thing I'd want to see are huge groups of conventions, cheerleaders and sports groups booked.

but then it wouldn’t work well. They already said 4 layers for cloth is best.

I'm sure there is some kind NASA material just waiting to be discovered.

Get on it people.

I'd be able to handle this, double-layer chiffon (which they are now saying is a good material for masks), but not medical grade. It's enough to make others feel comfortable though - I'll wear this around here during summer while we have to when outside. i still have cloth mask too. That's not me :D

The cloth masks will be a boon to the etsy folks, but they better get on it, probably be a study in a few weeks that says they aren't as effective as thought to warrant recommending them.

Well, there already are the stories about giving yourself a bacterial lung infection if you're clueless and careless with masks, so I'm not sure you'll have to wait a few weeks:)...

I saw in one group a nurse posted a picture about the different masks her hospital has and shows cloth as ineffective against viruses . They work for some things like dust but still not as good. The more layers for cloth gets a bit better but not amazing.

Nothing new related to Disney said in today's conference call

@yulilin3
Thank you so much!
Personal experience with the swab test, it's not as uncomfortable as i thought it would be but definitely completely impractical for parks operations in many ways.
As an aside i was washing my hands and thought wouldn't it be cool if Disney installs 20 second lyrics in the bathrooms for people to sing along to?
:)
