Hey yalllll!!
Anyone who's done the Disney College Internship would you mind telling me a bit more about it? Such as some rules for dress, piercings, nail polish, etc. Also, what are the chances of being accepted to this program? Would it help that I attend a Vocational High School for Early Childhood careers? I plan on attending college for Business eventually, would this be all right? Any tips?? THANK YA BUNCHES!! xx

Here are the guidelines for the Disney Look.
http://cp.disneycareers.com/en/about-disney-college-program/disney-look/

Disney Look: Just don't look fake or ridiculous. Think family friendly. Tattoos need to be 100% hideable, no more than one earring per ear, not too much jewelry or super colorful makeup or nail polish. Think natural colors. Hair can't be super brightly colored or anything unnatural looking basically. This includes highlights! Don't get your hair highlighted. Some people let it slide, but I've also seen a lot of girls have to get their hair redone because of the highlights, even though they were super light.

As for the chances of getting in, my rough guesstimate would be around 85% of serious people who apply, and are decently qualified get in. I think a lot of it is really chance, so don't be totally discouraged if you don't get in the first time. I've seen a lot of very qualified, Disney lovers get rejected and I think it's mostly by chance or the Web Interview which nobody seems to really understand. But definitely go for it, if you're thinking about it. It can't hurt!

I don't mean to sound harsh, but forgive me for being blunt. They don't care at all that you went to a Vo Tech High School or anything really about your major or the Early Childhood careers thing. All they care about is that you are enrolled in a college (Community College, University, whatever) at the time you apply. Must be some sort of actual college. They don't even ask for grades 95% of the time.

Experience is good to have and would boost your chances. If you want to go into business I would recommend you go for Vacation Planning or Merchandise as some of your roles. But remember, the more roles you say you're willing to go into, the higher your chances of getting hired.

Hope this helps! Happy applying!
