There are three types of commonly used fibers: Olefin is the least expensive; other fibers such as polypropylene and nylon are middle of the road, and 100% wool is the highest grade.

I've been looking for a carpet runner for my staircase. The ones I've found locally were all available on this website: http://www.rugsusa.com/ for about the same amount of money.

I am looking for area rugs. There is a store in my area that is going out of business after 40 years, and he sells high end rugs,

Hehe, we just got ours at like Home depot or something like 12 years ago...still looks new.

If you're talking about real high-end, like hand-woven Indian silk rugs, they should come with a certificate of authenticity.
