Rugrat Upstairs

When I read the post, I thought the OP meant "disability" as the "D" word since they said management isn't doing anything.

I suggest you move, get earplugs, or get over it already. If it has been going on for 26 months you should have been looking for another place to live. Maybe management didn't tell you about the other apartment because you are a PITA?

There is a Foreign Family upstairs. They do not know the word Discipline. There is I believe a 4 year old boy that has a case of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. He Stomps and Pounds the floor 50 to 200 times a day. I tried to call a state agency dealing with children in MA today and got nowhere. I tried to talk to the mgmt of the apartmebt complex and got nowhere. I suspect they are afraid of the D word. This is almost 26 months of this. What can I do to get them out of here? There was a tenant across from me that moved out. The mgmt never told me that apt was vacant.
All I can think of is:

OCD because the child is active? Wow, you are good. Do you even know what OCD is?

You called social services because a 4 year old is active. I wouldn't expect them to do anything. That call probably made it to some facebook site detailing the crazy calls they get (much like the 911 page)

Only 200 times in one day? That is less than 1/5th of a 12 hour day if he does it once a minute. I would call that a relatively quiet 4 year old.

Have you tried talking to the parents instead of making psychiatric diagnosis and calling state agencies?

Did your management know you were looking for a different apartment? Sounds like you need to be more proactive and call the mgt office every day and ask about apartment availability.

Although, I always thought bridges were meant to be walked/stomped on. You can always find another bridge to go live under :rotfl2:

As a leasing manager I don't have time to worry about telling my tenants about other units coming open. The only way I know they want to move is if they have notified us by writing and they get put on a waiting list. I agree that if I have a tenant that is a PITA I wouldn't go above and beyond to get them into another unit. Those type of tenants we keep our fingers crossed that they'll just move out.

I thought this thread was about a new musical stage show "Rugrats Upstairs!" and thought my nieces and nephews would like it!!! :rotfl2:
