Rude Players

Ok, a few days ago i was at the Golden Horse Shoe store, and this guest came in and asked me to trade, so, being curious i accepted. Well i said Hi, and the exact words they said was this: "Give me your golden ears, or i'll report you." I exited out of the trade and reported them...

Anyways, has anyone else ever run into someone so rude to you, you had to report them? (Sorry if there is another thread about this)

yes i have to. and this was a while back. maybe a month ago or something. well anyway, this girl asked me to trade and i said yes ( i usually did back then lol ). then she said:

girl: can i have your dress?
me: what is your offer?
girl - shows offer (really bad back then and now )
me: no thanks
girl: plz plz plz
me: no thanks

then i exit out of the trade because this conversation would go on for ever lol. then she said:

girl: if you dont give me your dress i will report you!
me: for what?!
girl: not trading me your dress!
me: did you report me yet?
girl: no

then i exited as fast as i could because i didnt want to get reported. then i talked to my friend ( a CL ) and she said i have nothing to worry about if you didnt do anything and that there is no reason for her to report me. but i mean, they could always lie and say i did something else then what i really did.

I had to report a girl in the Music Room game. I didn't tell her that I was reporting her. She was going around starting fights with some of the other girls on the dance floor and calling them ***chs but was using the word beach instead. I would be suprised if I wasn't the only one who reported her the way she was acting.

So that's what that word is supposed to stand for. I saw some girl calling a group of girls that yesterday, and me, being a little slow on the uptake, didn't have a clue what she meant. I've only been playing maybe 2 & a half weeks, and I've seen plenty of nasty stuff already. Innuendo, fights, you name it. Not long before VMK closed tonight, this boy declares to the entire room (I think it was Jungle Cruise, but I don't remember exactly) that every single player is ugly and should be ashamed of themselves. Aimed for the lovely report button, but Mr. Judgemental magically disappeared immediately. Darn. Then there was a guy who came up to me asking if I liked him. I started to say "I don't even know you," but figured not responding was the best way to handle it. It quickly regressed into "How can you not like me?!!! What's wrong with me that you don't like me???" Yeah... I just quickly went to the map and mozied on over to another section of VMKland. I seriously do not understand what's wrong with some of these players. I know it's the internet and you can get all types, but... geez.

well i was using a mule bc i like to have two players. and i go into the emporium and this random guest comes up to me and says i like u and somehow she said lets marry and i did not even know her. and SHE WAS GREEN. and i said no and she said "i like your but dont u like mine." i am going to tell everyone this. there are sick minded ppl on vmk if u ever meet one i suggest u exit the room immediately!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

in VMK_Flamingo's room after she left there was this girl who kept using different words to make what she wanted to say there was that beach thing and also some others i should not say in case smeone gets ideas :-o

I have seen a few rude players, so what did I do? Report 'em. Of couse that is hard because I try to say "he/she said a bad word" but vmk does not allow word...... So I have to say bad thing but that sounds stupid and I get no response. So now I say she/he said (whatever word) in a bad way. Silly words (oops, word is bad according to vmk ) are taken away from the dictionary...

I just send VMK the word "language" and they seem to get the idea. Hopefully, nobody will be able to misuse the word language and they won't take it away.

I figure I report somebody for language a couple of times per week.

OK, I just reported someone for inappropriate language and I got a message that report was for emergencies only. The last time, I got a "thank you for making VMK safe" kind of message. Now they don't want to hear it?

I'm pretty close to being done with VMK. I might even not bother continuing my tentative plans for a Spring WDW trip - VMK (quests, etc) was going to be a big reason to go.

About 2 months ago this guy was in the one of the main areas was telling anyone that listened that he was giving prizes to anyone that could find him and say the "secret phase" in his signature. So I checked it, walked right up to him {since he was standing right there} and said the phase. He opened a trade window with me and then privately said "I fooled you".

So I closed the window and announced to the room that he wasn't really giving out anything at all and not to bother with him. He then basically called me a liar in front of everyone and said that he did give me the prize and that I just wanted more, and all kinds of stuff like that. He said he was going to report me. So I typed "Good, they will check the files and see who is telling the truth". (I don't know if they have files or not, or if they check them after a report but it sounded good)

So then he all of a sudden he started to back-petal and tell me he was just kidding with me and it was a Halloween joke (even though it wasn't halloween yet} and all kinds of things. I just left.

Again--I've had the same thing happened to me.

And we also cancelled our trip to the park for Christmas, because frankly we were going for the tour and the prizes. I wrote to VMK and told them that, but of course I've got no reply to it.

Some people have been very rude to me. Several times I have felt the want to "step down" as community leader because of some things said. I was in one room once and told a girl that the boy/girl friend stuff was against the rules (which it is) and she said I was mean and was giving me bad feedback.

Another time someone asked to be on my friends list:

RP (rude person): Can I be on your friend's list?
me: My list is full. I am sorry (sad emote)
rp: delete someone. that's was I do.
(keep in mind this is the first time I had ever spoken to this person. I didn't even know her)
me: everyone on my list are friends who play often.
rp: just delete them, I want to be on your list.
me: I am sorry, but my list is full, I would feel bad to just delete a friend.
rp: Delete someone now and be my friend!

There are several more, but I can't remember them exactly. I have only ever tried to be nice to people, I wish people would try to be more friendly and compasionate.

I had one the other day...it was kinda funny now that I think about it.

I am in the process of redecorating my rooms...so I have all my funriture in my "storage rooms" on those rooms titles I have that I am not in...so if it shows up on the guest rooms list, hopefully no one will come in and bother me.

Well, this guy shows up. I didn't see him come in becauses I had the funiture window up and was in the trying to move furniture around the room. I close the window and there he is.

Me: Hello
Guy: Are you trading your fireworks pin
Me: No
Guy: Plz, can I have it. I'm poor.
Me: No, I worked hard to get it.
Guy: Plz, I want it.
Me: It's not for trade.
Guy: Give me the pin, and I will be your boyfriend.
Me: It is not for trade. And I don't want a boyfriend.
Guy: Plz, I want it.

At this point, I hit the ignor button, then booted him out of my room.

Why can't people just take no for answer?!

OK, that's mean! I have heard that this sort of thing happens to CL's all the time, and that it's their job to help them get everything in VMK

I hope to be a future CL, but if this sort of thing happens then I will just say "no that's not my job; it's yours. Sorry" or "I am not trading. Sorry" etc.
If they dislike it, it's not my fault!

I haven't had this thing happen, but If I become a CL, then who knows what will happen!
