Ah there are two sides to this argument. I had to use an ECV one time at christmas because I had dislocated my knee. I was sick and tired after about the third day of being in a busy park and people cutting infront of me and diving round me to get ahead of me. I continually had to slam the brakes on, which drove me insane. So in the end i took the attitude that if people were going to be so stupid as to cut infront of me like that, I wasn't going to stop and they would get their ankles rammed. Its their fault for being so rediculous. It happened wiht one woman and she looked at me like 'what the hell are you doing?!' I said 'you shouldnt have just jumped infront of me then!' - she didnt have a response!
I now am very tolerant of people in wheelchairs at Disney because I know how frustrating it is from their point of view, but I guess you have to be in that situation to understand.
Yeah, it's hard to explain unless you've ridden an ECV/wheelchair (or pushed a stroller) how difficult it can be.
