RSHEALAND Live at BLT with pics

RSHEALAND....your pics and report are terrific. I've been reading several comments about how BLT doesn't have a "disney feel" in other threads. All I can say, is, I don't get that at all ? Your photos of BLT really showed the elements of disney themeing and magic that exist in that resort. Thanks for taking the time to post :thumbsup2

Just found your TR today ~ happy I did! All caught up now & looking forward to more! :goodvibes

Yesterday was our last day at BLT. Got a few pictures of the sunrise, had breakfast in the room, packed up our owners locker and our bags, and then went to check our bag for the airline and drop our carry ons with bell services and headef for Magic Kingdom. Crowds were light but a couple of rides, Haunted Mansion and Buzz Lightyear, were closed down while we were there. Ate lunch at the Columbia Harbor House, then went over to Pirates of the Caribbean and walked right on. Wednesday at around the same time we waited for 30 minutes. At 2pm we walked back to CR for the magical express. When we left it was about 85 - 90 degrees and when we were landing in CT the pilot came on and said it was 36 and snowing. :sad2:

I love the pics. They are getting me excited for our first trips home in 64 days. Thanks for posting them.

THANKS so much for photos. Also made me feel MUCH better that the view was fine from the 7th floor.... I was so worked up about our upcoming MK view I tried to switch it to Bay view (but couldn't).

Cant wait for my next WDW trip in 2 1/2 months to BLT!

A few observations from our BLT stay

As for the Magic Kingdom view. We booked our first stay with a MK view with the idea of doing it once and then future visit lake view. Not any more. MK view is awesome, not just the the castle view, but the monorail, the GF, watching the boats from TTC, the smoke from the train circling MK, being able to watch the fireworks from your room, and being able to see every thing happening at night, its like living in a busy city. Now all stays will be MK view when available.

Hallowishes during MNSSHP are awesome

It was our first time for F&W and we liked it alot, just wished we had given up a couple of our ADRs to have more time to sample

10 minute walk to or from MK is great

Monorail to Poly and GF is great as is boat ride to WL

Owners Locker is a great service, it was our first use and wish we had started sooner ( I have picture of what comes with one and the size if anyone wants to see)

TOWL is very nice

gates around pool were locked so no access for people without keycard :thumbsup2
