Hi All,

As my flights arrive at CDG from Exeter around 20:00 on a Sunday, I'm looking at getting a private taxi to ship us to DLRP.

Main reasoning is that the next available VEA or TGV isn't until 21:45 - and with two small ones, I'd like to get them to the Holiday Inn as early as possible!.

I've been looking at RS Transports as I've seen it mention here a couple of times - just looking for any comments from anyone that's used them prevously or recommendations of alternatives please.

Just looking for that comfort zone....

Thanks All

Iain

I think you're very sensible getting a private shuttle. The total cost of the VEA wouldn't be much less and for the convenience it would be well worth it.

Have a look at the Travelling by Plane thread. I've listed all the shuttle I've heard about so far. I haven't used RS Transport, but I haven't heard anything negative about them. My advice would be to contact several of the companies with your request and ask for a total price - bearing in mind that they often charge add extra charges for pick ups after certain times etc. Then you can maybe make a decision, based on the speed and clarity of their response, as well as the price they are asking.

Can't add anything new, but let us know how you get on.
It would be nice to build up some testimonials of the different transport options.

Has anyone had cause to contact RS Transport in teh last couple of days (since weekend)?.

Have you had a reply?

I ask because I've emailed them twice this week, and neither email has been replied to - which make life difficult given I am/was want to book them!.

Iain, there was a thread very recently when somebody said that they had booked with a private shuttle company who had been very helpful. I can't remember who it was, but I don't think it was RS Shuttle.

When the search is working again, I'll have a look for you and find out the name - maybe it would be worth you contacting them instead.

I backtracked through my posts in the end, and found that the shuttle company was Shuttair. The post (#18) is here if you want to have a look Iain. :)

Hello, I have also been looking into transport to Disneyland from CDG and sent emails to lots of different shuttle companies. Just to let you know I received an email the next morning (after sending the night before) from RS Transports with a very professional reply with all my details and with a cost of 130 euros return (about £90) which I thought was good, but would also like to know if anyone has used them.

We hope to go to Disneyland from the 31st May to the 4th June 2006 and at present are costing all the different options which is how I found your thread.

Hope you have heard from them.

Hi,

We have also booked with RS Transports for transfer between CDG and DLP.
I first contacted them using the online reservation links and recieved a reply the same day. Then asked if there was a discount if you booked a return journey and again received a prompy reply with all details on it. From memory i think it was also 130Euros which worked out just slightly dearer than the VEA and a lot less hassle with a young one in tow.

Cheers

Juls4/Littlelizzie - when did you contact them - was it in the last couple of days?

Iain,

It was last week that I contacted them. Just had a look at the booking confirmation and it is €130 return.

Good luck

I contacted them Thursday (09/03) at 20.18 and got a reply immediately at 20.28.
I then got a follow up email on the Friday evening.
I used the contact email from there site.

We used RS Transports for our return transfers from Beauvais Airport to DLRP, on our recent trip (7th - 11th March). Cost for 90 min journey was 130 Euros (approx. £90) each way (they only accept payment in cash, but at least you don't need to pay in advance, just fare each journey when completed).

I had no previous experience of using this company. Their service was excellent. I would definitely recommend them. Our flight was 20 mins early in arriving and their driver was already waiting for us. Driver spoke English. Pick-up at DLRP hotel for return journey was very straightforward too. Also the vehicle had a car seat for my 2 year old DS which l had asked for when l booked by e-mail.

I phoned them a couple of days before our trip as l had only contacted them by e-mail before. Tel No: 0033 612 595 398, to reconfirm the details of our booking, which they did.

Definitely a company to recommend based on my experience.

Edited 2007 - RS Transports are now called BS Transports
