RPR Waterview - Best Rooms?

I have read several reports on the better standard rooms at RPR; I have ressies for RPR in October/waterview room; what are the best views/room numbers? I do not want to be staring at the highway . I have stayed at HRH 3 times and this will be my first time at RPR; after reading probably too many reviews on RPR all over the web I am hoping I made a good choice; I am surprised how one review can give RPR a horrible rating and the next says it is excellent...drives a person crazy ...I am hoping I made a good decision..my sister and myself wanted to try a diff universal hotel this time; I am mostly concerned with the cleanliness of the rooms; worn out bedding, etc...any feed back would be appreciated - thanks!

We stayed in July. Rooms are clean, don't worry about that.
Best views of the park are in tower 1, with room 1733-1719 odd, 1633-1619 odd, or 1533-1519 odd, being what everyone wants. Read this thread for more info on room numbers. Call the hotel before you arrive, and ask them to put your room request on your ressie.

We like room 1740. It is a standard room with a great view of the parks and the waterway. It is not a pool view.

Thanks for replying! I have read the threads on the rooms and most of them are standard rooms that people are posting - I should have researched more before booking the trip - I have already booked waterview with Universal Vacations. Anyone know the waterview rooms that would have a good view of the lagoon area? thanks again.

Well the room numbers I posted are waterview rooms and face the park.

Call them up and say you want room 1733 and they'll immediatly know what you are talking about. You'll probably hear them laugh under their breath. They get that request all the time.
