Can someone explain how you walk from RPR to IOA? Do you walk a path to citywalk and then another path to IOA? What tower is the one that's closest to the path? I would like to request the tower it is easiest to walk from

Not sure of the towers, except that if you're next to the walking path, you are far from the boat launch.

You walk to citywalk, then cross the first bridge on your left to go to IOA. For the other park, either continue through citywalk and cross the next bridge on your left, OR cross to IOA then take a right and walk along the other side of the canal (past the NBA restaurant I believe).

Tower one is closest to the walking path. If you walk down the hall and out the side door you are right on the path. That takes you to City Walk and you turn left to go to IOA and right to go to US.

I've stayed in room 1733 two years in a row. It is in tower one and right next
to the stairs that exit right on the walking path. It is very quiet because no one is above you, next to you and not many people come down the hall. The view of the parks are amazing. If you want to be near the path I would try to be near this room and on one of the higher floors.

Wow sounds like exactly what were looking for! I wonder what my chances are of getting that room if I request it?

Can I ask you how did you request this room? I am trying to plan and it sounds perfect!

We emailed the resort requesting certain rooms. Not just one room number, but three different ones in the same area.

When requesting a specific room # make sure its the bedding type you want/need. Like a King or Dbl. Queen.

Just jumping in... Which rooms besides 1733 would u request? Is there some sort of map to see this info? And how will I know what type of bedding the room has? Oh and what's their email address? :worship: (Sorry about the multiple questions.. It's going to be my first stay this November...)

You can find the answers to all your questions and then some in this thread! It's terrific with great info when trying to choose a room/tower at RPR. :)

We requested either 1533, 1633, or 1733 because they are at the end of the hall--far away from the elevator and very quiet. The stairway leading to the walking path to City Walk was right outside our door. I was at Margaritaville in five minutes.
We had a view of the waterway, the walking path, The Hulk, Dr. Doom, many other sights at IOA, the Universal globe.

Are they King or dbl Queen?

We wound up in 1633 and the room had two queen beds.
