RPR to parks with stroller

I've picked up lots of info from the boards and now starting trip planning for the last week of January at RPR with 2 toddlers. Initial questions:

Are the boats accessible or will kids need to be removed and stroller folded? If not accessible we'll probably walk so I'm trying to figure the distance from RPR to CityWalk dock - I'm thinking it's 10-15 minutes.

In DW threads, I have read about occassional snake encounters:scared1:. Given the tropical theme of RPR, any reports of sightings/incidents?

Are onsite pools illuminated, heated and supervised in the evenings? Since the parks will close at 6pm, I'd like to use them after dinner.

Thanks in advance and I'm sure to have more questions in the weeks to follow.

Yes from what I remember it was a fold the stroller situation and hold the baby while on board the boat, then take stroller out when docked, seems like we were able to leave the stroller intact a few times too, probably depends on how crowded the boats are.

Yes the walk is about 10-15 minutes from the RPR to City Walk, its a hike, but do-able. We walked several times, you'll get your exercise.

Never encountered a snake, but not outside the realms of possibilities, being its in Florida and there is a lot of water around.

not sure about strollers on Boats as we rarely use the boat, we prefer the walk to Citywalk from RPR. It takes 7 mins, and this is not walking very fast from RPR to citywalk , to Margaritaville where the pathway comes out. It is a nice stroll and have never saw any snakes on any of our visits

Hey there, I used the boat today with a stroller and the boat captain just politely asked that we put our stroller to one side of the front section of the boat with the brake on. Of course, you take your child out of the stroller, but I have not had to fold the stroller during our trip over to IOA today. :goodvibes

i have seen that many times when i take the boat from the hotel.

strollers are kept in the front section where the captain is.

we found walking from RPR to citywalk was always the best option. It seemed to get everyone ready for the walking around the parks and with there being 8 of us (youngest 5) it was quicker as we didnt have to queue for the boat and make sure everyone got on it!

We never encountered any snakes, however my sister did end up with a number of different bits all over her arms and legs which didnt occur previously whilst staying at HRH, so im guessing it was the tropical theme, just to make you aware!
