RPR room request and first visit

We are onsite at the RPR this Sat-Mon for the first time. I have a couple of questions...

-Do I need to make a specific room request? Is there a specific floor, tower, location, etc. that is more desirable or I should request. If so, how do you go about this. Do you call the hotel directly, or ask at check-in.

-What about room upgrades. I have been reading some posts about club level. But I entered my dates again, and nothing came up available. Does that mean there are no rooms available, or none with my AP discount? Is it still possible to pay for an upgrade at check-in?

-What about parking? So even though we are staying onsite and bought a preferred AP, we still pay for parking? How much is valet?

Thanks

If you want a certain view, fax or call the hotel directly.

If there are club rooms available, you can upgrade for $100/night.

Annual passes only give you free parking at the parks, not the hotel. Valet is $20, I believe.

I personally would recommend the IOA park view which I believe is also a pool view, just my personal favorite.

i prefer tower 3 but also really enjoy tower 1 at RPH.

ask for a park view and an upper floor if available.

when i am in tower 3, i get a great view of the parry hotter castle.
the times i have chosen tower 1, i get the view for the hulk.

both are great.

i usually try to get a room closest to the elevator.
some of those corridors really are a far walk to the elevators.

call the hotel directly and see if any club rooms will be available for your stay.

maybe you can get at least one night on club level.

i have changed rooms on some occassions.
if the room i want is not available, i go on a list and when it is empty, i move to that room.

I booked a standard view. Are there any nice views, or should I plan on waking up to see the dumpster?
