DS and I will be staying RPR next week in a standard room. We have been assigned to our favorite park view room. If I ask for an upgrade to a King Suite but still want a park view, what room do I want to request? We typically like an upper floor. Thanks.

The best King suites are those in tower 3 ending in 00. They have a beautiful view of the pool and some of IOA. 3400,3500, and 3600 are the best of the best. There are also king suites in tower 2 that have partial IOA views along with views of the garden/water area you see when entering the hotel. The view is actually pretty nice IMO. Good suites in tower 2 would be 2500,2600, and 2700. Eclpz314 just got back from a stay in a pool/park view suite in tower 3. 3700 on the club floor to be exact. Maybe she can tell you more about the view from the tower 3 suites.

Thank you for your reply. I am surprised you did not mention Tower 1. I thought the best park views are from Tower 1. Don't they have any King Suites over there?

They do have king suites in tower one but because of their location, half of them have a very limited park view while the other half have pool views. The standard rooms with park views are located at the end of the halls. King suites are the first two rooms from the elevator on each side of the hall. Rooms ending in 00 and 01 are king suites.

We have stayed in 3400 and had an excellent view of the pool and a limited view of IOA. The view of IOA is not as good there as it is from the rooms we have stayed in in Tower 1. Being up higher probably makes a difference. 3400 was a nice room and we really enjoyed the view.

The view from the 3700 king suite had a decent view of Dr. Doom towers area in IOA. Dueling Dragons is way in the distance. It also overlooks the pool. You can't see the nightly fireworks from there because they are blocked by tower 1. I did enjoy looking w/binoculars in the distance off to the left a couple of nights to see fireworks at WDW.

I stayed in 3400 recently and the view worked fine for me. Of course, there are higher floors. ;)
