Rpr Club Level

I would like to know what rooms numbers to request that are close to the lounge? I care less about the view, dont think we'll be in the room much. :goodvibes

My biggest beef with RPR Club is that only about 1/3 of the rooms there have a good view, and unfortunately, I can't remember what they are off the top of my head. Seems to me that even-numbered rooms have better views than odd-numbered ones.

Anyway, lindalinda, all of the rooms are very convenient to the lounge. The rooms are sort of shaped in a T-hallway, and the lounge is where both lines of the "T" meet, if that's makes sense. No room is a long hike to the lounge.

However, when I tried to change my reservations for our next club stay, the reservationist had told me that they are thinking about giving the 6th floor club privileges (currently, all club rooms are on the 7th floor). Now, this is just a rumor for now, but I will be checking to make sure we're still on the 7th floor when we check in May 4!

How much are the cabanas? How long do you get them for? Morning til night?
Please forgive my ignorance, but can you explain what a cabana is, details, details, details...please!!!

Never tried the club level....it seems like a scam for $100 per night extra. If you got the money go for it I guess. We still have a peaceful vacation and pretty much roll out of bed and go in the mornings.

I bring a "soft cooler" that doubles as a carryon and get water, beer, and treats for the kids. Then I grab a dozen dunkin donuts or whatever for breakfast and I am about $80 per day ahead of the game.

If I wanted to use the argument its a "break from the kids" to have club level....If I truly needed a break from the kids they wouldn't be with us on vacation.

well, with the club level you dont have to tote around a soft cooler-- even if it isnt that heavy, you'd still have to put it in a locker on most rides.

Who said they stayed on Club level to have a break from their kids?? I think you are taking some coments out of context. All I have read are people saying they enjoy the relaxing atmosphere in the club lounge and the convience of snacks and water. No one said they used club level to ditch their kids.

Like I said before I'm a single mother and my world revolves around my kids and that is why I choose vacation destinations that are very kid friendly. My kids enjoy Club Level more than I do and it is as much of break for them as it is for me.

Cabanas are little tents/huts next to the pools. They each come with a table and chairs, TV, fan, phone & refrigerator. They come with a bowl of fruit and 6 or 8 drinks (mix of soda & water). The drapes can close for privacy if you want to get changed. You can use the phone to order food or drinks from the pool side restaurant. With club level you get 50% off the rate.

We enjoy the cabanas during the busy times because you don't fight for a seat. People are always leaving towels on chairs, saving seats even when they are not there. With the cabana you can come and go and know you will have a place by the pool.

RPR only has 3 and HRH has about 10 (some of them have themes).

Another single Mom here! One whose kid thinks hes got the greatest mom in the world....who not only takes her kid but 2 extra teens along to make sure its fun! I love this vacation better than just about anything because its so relaxing, and if club level makes it easier for ME , well guess what...I'm the one paying for it so I guess I get to decide whether its worth it. :cool1:
