WOO HOO, just got an APH rate for Aug 1-4 for $105.00 per nite. I think its a terrific rate. Just wanted to give a heads up!

WOW..... that is a good rate. When I booked our room for aug. 11-15, with the ap rate it was 146.00.... maybe I should call back and check for our dates!!!

I should also say, that I used the ent. rate instead, getting the room for $110.00 a night....... so, it's only 5.00 difference... still a good rate though!

Pretty good.

When I called for PBH, I asked the rates for AAA, Fan Club, Annual Pass Holder and Entertainment Rate. Lowest was Ent at $170/night.

Duhhh.... now that I re-read the original post I see APH. I think the H threw me off... oh well I am blonde LOL.....

I had called several weeks ago & couldn't get any discounts for in July. I already booked...and went thru Priceline ...so I can't change..oh well.... that is a great rate...makes me almost want to add a day and stay there!!

I also tried to use the AP member for the discount, my dates are aug. 11-15..... which may be the problem I'm having, but I too was told 146.00........ So, I'm keeping my Ent. Rate which is 110.00 a night...... Yes, WHO did you call to get that rate???? I called the 1800beastar # and the hotel (RP) directly...... both gave me the same info??

Thanks... I didn't think that Lowes gave the AP rates, I thought it had to be from Universal's sysem... I am going to try them ... for that price I would add on a night

I just called that number, it isn't a Lowes number, it is a Travel Agency. The lowest rate they have for the RPH is $199.99. They gave me the 1-800-235-6397 number to Lowes. The lowest rate they had was $179.99 (and thru Universal's numbers as well as their web site it is $146 for AP rate unless you go like Wendypooh with the Entertainment rate for $110) I have no clue how you got that great rate?!?!?!?!

Mickeyfan, I also called that number, and a man answered and said "Thank You for calling Loews Hotel", I then asked about the rate of $105. for AP, and he quoted me a rate of 146.00. All I can assume is that the dates I'm looking at are not the 105.00 rate (Aug. 11-15).
I also called the 1=800- be a star number and the hotel directly, both quoting the 146.00 rate, which is why I stayed with the ENT. rate of 110.00. I'm glad she got that rate, but I think it may have been a fluke, and of course I'm not lucky enough to have that happen to me If you do find out anything, please let us know.

Just as a follow up......... I had my Sister call that number today, and "Alicia" answered the phone, saying "Thank You for calling Loews Hotel"..... My sister asked for every discount rate available, AP/Ent. etc.... etc..... told her ANYTIME in aug. the lowest rate she was quoted was 146.00...... Ent. rate is apparently NOT AVAILABLE anymore. Alicia, also said she did not see any where at all for aug. having a rate of 105.00..... she even asked my sister if her "friend" was sure she called "this number" ? (the 1800 23loews #)
So, momtomootoo got a GREAT rate!!!!! Again, I think someone "goofed" but hey, Good for her!!!!! Like I said, it could never happen to me..............

You may have received the Annual Pass RENEWAL Rate. I just stayed at PBH with that rate. A garden view was 129.00. I chose the bay view for 140.00. (Thanks to Loews First, an upgrade to Deluxe Villa). This rate is not talked about much. I don't know when its available. It should say RENEWAL on your written confirmation. By the way, I was never asked to see my AP, although I have one.

When was that offered to you? When you renewed or activated your renewal?? There maybe a chance yet for me LOL.... I am activating my renewal this coming week

Well the plot thickens here, I also called Loews wanted to confirm my reservation( I was starting to get worried!!) and was reassured that I indeed had an annual pass holders rate of $105.00. I received email confirmation as well.
