i thought her dress was beautiful. hopefully it will start a return to classic and classy...enough of the strapless dress with pickups, it's been done to death.
her bouquet was very beautiful. don't think that just because it was small that it was inexpensive, though. lily of the valley is almost the most expensive flower you can use. probably is most expensive when you figure how small they are. each pip (individual stem) usually will retail for around $10, and i bet she's got well over 100 of them in there.
the veil and headpiece were lovely. glad that the tiara was slightly understated. she looked beautiful in it.
there actually were a ton of flowers in the abbey. if you look over the far altar, it's all flowers and greenery up there. there were also several large bouquets placed other places around the altar. but the size of the abbey is such that it will tend to dwarf almost anything. (florist for 20 years here)
i also wished that pippa had carried flowers, but i understand that she had "duties". carrying the train, holding the little girls hands.
it was a very beautiful wedding and was only missing his mother, may she rest in peace. she would have been very proud of him.
