When I need advice - I always go to the experts. So.....I need some discussion from you guys out there ! What are the pros and cons on this subject? Would you rather book CRT for one meal OR book Akershus Princess Storybook Breakfast and 1900 Park Fare for dinner? It will be using the DDP so "money" is not a factor in the decision - just the decision of which way to spend the 2 TS credits that would be involved.

Our family has been to Princess Storybook Breakfast multiple times and really enjoyed it and we have also done 1900 Park Fare for dinner and had a great experience. We have never eaten at the palace so I don't know how to compare.

I am helping a friend plan her trip for June. There will be 4 people, 2 adults, DD is 6 and DS is 2. She doesn't know which route to take and since we have never eaten at CRT I don't know what to advise. They will be there 8 days and doing the dining plan so there will be multiple opportunities to work a wide variety of dining experiences in. What are your opinions??

We love CRT and Akershus but hated 1900PF but you obviously had a decent experience there.

CRT is much better ambience than the other two and you can't beat that guarantee for both Cinderella and a seat in the 'actual' castle. Akershus the food is better IMHO and the princesses are brilliant at both.

Personally if first timers would go to CRT and if they have boys in their party as well as girls would also go to CRT. My DS hates the princess meals but loves CRT as just loves being in Walt's Icon building for any meal.

We've done CRT and Arkeshus but not 1900 Park Fare. If your friend has never dined at the castle it's worth it to do it at least once. Just being there seemed 'magical' to us. We loved Arkeshus too, but it was the Wow! factor of CRT that will have us going back to dine there next June. Since your friend is on the dining plan she has 8 TS credits for the 8 night stay. Why not budget 2 of those TS for CRT? This is a general DP guide, which of course can change based on the parks they visit each day.

Day 1: Arrive, 1 CS for dinner
Day 2: 1 CS breakfast or lunch; 1 TS Arkeshus lunch or dinner
Day 3: 1 CS breakfast or lunch; 2 TS CRT lunch or dinner
Day 4: 1 TS Chef Mickey's breakfast; 1 CS dinner
Day 5: 1 CS breakfast or lunch; 1 TS Crystal Palace lunch or dinner
Day 6: 1 TS Tusker House breakfast; 1 CS dinner
Day 7: 1 CS breakfast or lunch; 1 TS 1900 Park Fare lunch or dinner
Day 8: 1 TS Cape Mae Cafe or Ohana breakfast; 1 CS dinner

Hope that helps...

We have tried Akershus and 1900 and loved both. We have yet to try CRT. I loved the interaction and the food at both places.

We did CRT for dinner last week and loved it!! I understand dinner is different than breakfast. Cinderella signed dd's book when we went in and took a photo with her (that was included in the cost of our meal..didn't know that tidbit before hand). Once inside it was the two female mice and the fairy godmother....but none of them sign. The food was good as well.

I would say if you have never done the castle it is worth trying it once! (as long as you don't mind using 2 credits)
