Royal Plaza Questions

OK after everyone's helpful suggestions we decided to book our stay at the Royal Plaza. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions for our stay. We did book a tower room with a whirlpool tub. Can anyone tell me what stop the Royal Plaza is for the transportation?? If it is the last stop then I need to plan on driving my car to the parks everyday. Will we be able to walk to DTD?? Any other info on this resort would be helpful! Thanks a bunch!!

Stayed at Royal Plaza last October. I liked the hotel, but if you are a light sleeper request a room away from the I-4 side of the building in the tower. I don't know what highway noise is like in the garden wings but I found it noisy on 12th floor with a room facing at an angle to the interstate.

Tower rooms nice size with a little sitting area and a small balcony you can stand on but not sit. Some of the views are great, could see part of fireworks from I guess Magic Kingdom. 10-15 minute walk to Downtown Disney .

FH and I are staying there for our honeymoon. I remember reading somewhere that it is the 3rd hotel for pickup on the Downtown Disney bus line, and apparently there's rarely any trouble finding a seat.
