I am very concerned that we will have a room that there was a previous pet is roght before us. I have a cat so I know what kind of furry messes could be left behind. I really dont want a room that has pet hair in it and I can't imagine the cleaning people getting all hair up with the short amount of time they have to clean. Anyone else go into a room that was either stinky or hairy? We arrive at at 8:00 at night and I would like to request a non pet room but by that time I may not have a choice if they are all gone I am assuming.

At the RPR there are 3 towers. Pets are put in tower 2 on the floors 1 and 2. Most people who want a really great view of the park request a room in tower 1. The all mighty RPR room assignment thread is here.

The room you want to ask for is 1733. The would be tower 1, floor 7, room 33. Anywhere near that and you'll have a great view of the parks, and you probably won't even see a pet, because they're on the other side of the property.

Call the hotel now and put in your room request. Then call a couple days before you leave to make sure your reservation is on file and they have it noted.

Me and my cat have stayed in a pet room at RPR. Honestly, I couldn't even tell that there had ever been a pet in there. The room didn't stink, I didn't see any pet hair, there weren't any "chew" marks in the furniture...I'm really picky about cleanliness so those are definitely things I'd notice. As Robvia mentioned, you can request a non-pet room and I'm certain they'll be able to honor your request.

We stayed at PBH last summer and I wouldn't have known I had a room that had a previous pet in it until I found a little rawhide bone hidden behind the curtains one day. The room was spotless and smelled wonderful. So I think they must do a great job of cleaning up after the pets (aside from the hidden bones!).
