Sorry it has been forever since posting, we have had a time of it here, just got out of the hospital with my eldest son for an unexpected week long stay due to his seizures, thankfully things are better but I am so behind - we leave in 20 days!!.

I know that my swap/turn is coming up and I am totally behind in what I need to do and contact. Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction? I am part of the Tinkerbelle swap too so I am looking at 3 strollers I need to get (I am stroller sitting as well).

Jenna.....you are half way done as we have already made arrangements for the drop offs. The only difference is I will also be dropping off RC# 4 to you as well as #2 and Tinkerbell!!!

For YOUR drop offs you will need to make arrangements with:
- parkers*momma for Tinkerbell and RC#4
-renae0118 for RC#2

PLEASE PM both these people to make arrangements

All of your dropoffs are at POP Century so at least you do not have to go to different resorts.

You need to get the Dissers real name, their ressie number and the day of there arrival. This info needs to go on the claim ticket in case you need to store the strollers in Luggage services at POP when you drop the stollers off.

The person who agreed to exchange everything is jenok0426. Heaven only knows what I typed in the PM, as things are CRAZY around here.

I feel horrible about not being on the thread much but life has taken a lot of left turns lately. As some of you may know, DH has a heart condition and recently started having problems again. This time they are talking a quad by-pass so there has been test after test. Another one today . Dh is adament about still going to WDW and FINALLY the DR gave consent but not without a lot of stipulations. No water parks, no impact rides (roller coasters, no tea-cups, nothing that jolts the body) no up close fireworks, lost of rest time, ECV, etc. BUt hey we are still going--now to get him to listen while we are there.

Plus on Friday night a new grandson--NOLAN YANCE was born at 12:15, 9# 9oz, 22" long, all fingers and toes and lots of jet black hair.

In a few minutes, more test for Dh.

And Sunday, I have a 2.5 hr road trip one way--MY SON HAS A 10 DAY LEAVE!!

But I have been trying to answer swappers questions in PMs. I hope I haven't missed anyone.

DEBRAW76--I'll PM jenok0426 and let her know you need her information. She is arriving on the 19th but since you leave so close by, it shouldn't take it long to get to here.

Disneynutts777--If you don't mind, please get the information for DebraW76. The two between now and you are simply to hard to get hold of online.

To all others asking about joining the swap. Until I get things under control with all of the stroller, I'm not comfortable with adding anyone. I will be there in 4 weeks and will be fixing everything possible at that time. Once I evaluate the strollers conditions, deciding what ones I am leaving and which ones I am bringing home, I will add more swappers for the end of the year--IF NEEDED AND POSSIBLE. My top concern is the current swappers--I want to make sure there will be strollers available for them since they had paid to purchase or repair the strollers before the "BIG CHANGE" on Disboards.

To those in the swap: Trust me, I haven't abandon the thread--just running circles in real life. I'm sorry I kind put the swap as not a #1 priority as I have in the past but it is still a priority just #3 right now. I'm not giving up on this swap. It will make it to the end of the year!!!

Congrats on the newest member of ur family. He will give u a reason to de-stress while DH is going through all of his tests.

I am so sorry you are going through all the health difficulties with your husband. But congrats on the birth of your new grandson...the happier things mingled in with the more difficult.

I totally understand putting the brakes on things until you go to Disney and check out the strollers.

I will patiently wait, and hopefully will be able to join the swap after that time!

I also am more than willing to do whatever is needed in terms of stroller upkeep. Is there any way that I can be notified if there is any broken parts so that I can order it before hand and bring it along to Disney when I go on Nov 7-11? My handy hubby can fix most anything, and would be happy to do so if needed.

LOL...It's all good! But I would have loved to be a lil mouse when the other Dis'er reads those PM's you sent her. Especially if it is an 70+ year old Dis'er and her DH reads them. Waiting on a report from DebraW76 to see if the frame is on it's way for #4, I will be picking up #5 and bringing it home so I can ship it to INSTEP and HOPEFULLY get a new stroller to replace it. I've kept your PM so as soon as I get to WDW to check over the strollers, we can go from there.

ok...I had my tearing jag tonight and in a great frame of mind. LOL...as crazy as this sounds, I think everyone needs to take just one day every couple of months and have a good cry. It does the soul good!

OK, as you all may know, I have my Air Force son home for a short leave. He has to head back on Friday. BOOOOO HISSSSSS that is so not right. I know I brag my kids up (puffing up chest-what mom doesn't when they talk about their kids) but I really thought about this alot and just have to share.

I always thought that once your kids grew up the house grew quieter. I am always worried about the day all the kids are gone. After this past weekend, I don't see that happening in my life time.

Our home is officially HOME to every child that crosses the threshhold. We have come to realize this just recently. This was our Sunday.....

1 pm....Oldest Daughter and her three babies came home...shortly thereafter, her two childhood best friends (like daughters to us) come over with their babies. Now we have 11 kids in the house.

2:30...Oldest Son, his girlfriend and my 2 grandbabies come over...shortly thereafter his childhood best friend (who calls us mom and dad), wife and son stop in to say hi. Now we have 18 ppl in the house.

3:00...Air Force son and his girlfriend stop in. Now we are 20 kids in the house.

4:00..Middle son, his girlfriend, his Best friend since 2 grade, and two other childhood friends come over.(again, we are known as mom and dad to all of them. Now we have 25 kids in the house.

4:30...Youngest son, his five 16 year old friend and 2 girlfriend are all here saying they are HUNGRY. Our home has always been the "free restaurant" to the kids. Always have homemade cookies, cakes, pies, brownies or something sitting on the table. Know wonder DH has a heart condition. We are now at 33 kids in the house.

5:00...youngest Daughter complains she wants her BFF to come over, so her BFF mom brings her to over to play. Now we have 35 kids in the house between the ages of 3 days to 29 years old.

Supper time...I asked what they wanted and pizza won. I'm not about to make pizza for this clan so I order....get this...Nine 14" pizzas and we ran out. OMG...Kids can sure eat!

We listened as everyone talked-Telling tales of all the rotten things they did while growing up and we never caught them doing it. We couldn't get a word in edge wise. Tons of laughter and joking! Finally about 10pm they gradually started leaving. Finally it was down to just our 6--yes we have 5 children plus Bootsie who lived with us.

They started goofing off and finally spilled the beans....they had this planned! They just to let DH know what he would be missing if he DIDN'T listen to the Dr while at WDW!!! Heavens...I love each and everyone of them!

I mean who wouldn't want to live to be 100 years old with kids like ours!


Monday...a bunch of them came over while we were at work and did all the yard work before DH got home.

Today...my dad and my 3 new siblings came in for a couple of days so Dad can see the new baby.

With all the tests, Dr. appointments, and all that yucky stuff...sometimes it is hard to see beyond the moment. Thank heavens we have such great kids.

Ohh and I have to share this with everyone (Puffing out chest--proud Momma) Our youngest son-16yo-- Starts his Junior year tomorrow and when he picked up is schedule tonight, he found out that he DID get accepted into the AP Classes on three of his subjects. So he is taking College Classes in Math, English, and History. I feel a celebration coming one.

Crying jabs are great....it does give you a new outlook on life!

I am going to disney oct 15-23 i don't need a stroller i got one off of craigs list just for the trip, it is a pretty nice stroller very beefy. The regular price on it is 190$ but i got a very good deal on it. Anyway, I don't really want this stroller for anything besides disney I would be willing to donate it if someone can come get it on the morning of the 23rd or there is some painless way to leave it for someone from your swap to come get. it is a big graco, bigger than the usual travel system one you see and can hold up to 50 lbs i believe and has alot of space and folds flat for naps. it is a single stroller. Let me know if your interested I got it with the intention of just leaving it at the resort but if i could donate it here that would probably be better and it would be great to know it's going to be used

As soon as I get everyone settled on Aug. 27th I will try and send out an update
I will definitly send one while we are there. Both DSIS's are bringing there computers so I should be able to snag one for a few minutes and send the condition of the strollers back to you!!!!
I have all of them but RC #1 (photolover has it!!!)

Maddi....your family sounds awesome. It is days like the one you just had that makes me thankful that my family is just as close and caring as well!!!
