With 3 small kids, we can really use a stroller, especially for Epcot and MK.

Maddi on swap #5 you have me sitting from Aug 25th- Sept 4th. We do not arrive until Aug 27th. So unclejr. is going to have to put the stroller in luggage services at Coronado Springs for a couple of days until we get there

I so wish I could leave early. Unfortunatly it is not DH but the 2 jobs that I need to be at the days prior

Hi Maddie and All!!!

Well...we finally made it back!!!

Here are the pics of the missing rivets from stroller #5

Here are the pics of the broken bar that runs between the seats on stroller #4...it is broken at the top. There is no way this happened due to use or kids!

Just so you know...we had NO trouble in picking up the strollers from LS. We did call ahead (about 15mins) to let them know we were on our way to get them. When we arrived we reminded them we had called ahead about picking them up and they walked back & rolled them out...all in all it took about three minutes!!!

I called Finally-A-Vacation last night and gave her the LS tag number for #5, so she should be good to go.

Whoever is picking up #1...I sewed up the seat and left the iron-on patch in the velcro pocket on the back of the stroller. The sew job was holding fine though. I also duct taped the new replacement seat (in its box) to the storage area in the bottom of the stroller.

Maddie...you might consider just ironing on the patch for now and saving the replacement set for later swappers as the seat is in good shape and holding. Just a thought to make the stroller last longer. Maybe a future swapper can bring an additional patch when they replace the seat later???

Also, for whoever is picking up #4...we duct taped the broken bar back in place. Sorry for all the duct tape, but we didn't want the lose bar to punch holes through the storage basket or the canopy. It will actually probably hold for a while until it can be fixed. If anyone can weld, it definitely can be fixed that way...It's obvious this damage had to of happened by extreme amounts of weight being placed on top of the strollers.

Anywho...we had a WONDERFUL trip!!! I'll post a pic or two later with some highlights!

Hope everyone has a great time and thanks for the wonderful strollers!!! They were a lifesaver and my kids loved riding in their "bus" and finding their little special gifts that Mickey and Minnie left for them overnight in their seats as well!!!

I am picking up #1 and #4 . I will iron on the patch and use the seat as-is and leave the replacement for the next swapper unless the seat gets worse during the 8 days we have it. Thanks for fixing it up!

I enjoyed reading and keeping up with the thread. We were lucky enough to have used stroller #2 once in November 2008 and again in May 2009. I had offered to stroller sit in November for our dates and I was on the list but I now see someone else is there. I was not using the stroller this time around... just a sitter. I am glad you found someone that actually needed the stroller. Happy Vacations to you all!

We have needed strollers for the past 10 years going to Disney. At one time I even had a 5 year old, 2 year old and a baby and poor DH had to lug 2 strollers on board the busses. One single and One double. Our kiddos are now 19,14,11, 8, and 6 and our stroller days are over! My Dh did not know what to think about not having to lug the stroller on and off the busses, but we have had our time and now its yours. I do miss the kiddos being small though and would stop the clock right now if I only could.....
