Royal carriage swap-#1 STROLLER-MISSING-FOUND-MISSING AGAIN

As I am walking away, they are still whispering and giggling and then I hear, Yeah, let's do it!!! Then one of them walks up and says, Do you wnat to do something special with your kids tonight? I say, SURE! He says, It's kind of intense and may take a while...I say, OKAY!!! I call for DH and tell him to come on the "bus" is leaving!!! So then we get all these instructions...Do you have a photopass card? Yes, thanks and he hands it to a photographer!!! Then he introduces us to a young lady and says, she will be taking care of your stroller!!! Then he says to DD6 and DS4, So two of my friends are going to come out and see you, I can't tell you who, but they have big ears and like to eat cheese! My kids start yelling, It's Mickey & Minnie!!! He then says, they will walk w/you through the park over to the Dumbo ride and ride w/you on the ride, then they will walk w/you over to Sir Mickey's to take pictures!

this is AWESOME!!!!! i would love to do this with my kids!!! what an wonderful pixie dust moment to remember for forever!!! No wonder you are on

That is so awesome!!! I love when extra pixie dust is spread around!!!!! This is definetly one of those moments that I would cherish forever!!! What a wonderful memory.

What a neat thing for a first time trip You don't have a clue how hard it was NOT to tell after we spoke on the phone the other night. I was soooo excited for you.

The smiles on those babies faces are PRICELESS! Those teeny tiny moments definitely make the trip AND makes you want to keep going back, doesn't it?

Our first trip with DD, she was escorted by Cruella to each of the meet and greets at the then MGM studios. For 30 minutes they were hand in hand walking right up to each of the characters. PRICELESS and even at 2 she remembers each minute of it and still talks about it.

Yep, that was the exact moment she became a disney nut like her mom.

HAHAHA it's up to you two which stroller you use. Ddleffers has #4 and #5. She is stroller sitting for #4 and using #5 for her lil ones. Currently I have you in #4 but the main thing is that you have a stroller and Ddleffers is the one who has both strollers before your time at WDW. Whatever works out for you guys works out for me.

And about the seat. We were pulling out today to go camping and my daughter saw a box on our steps. I went to grab it and it said Fort Wilderness. It was the seat. I have NO IDEA why they sent it too me. My sister duct taped it to the bottom of the stroller. I can mail it to however needs it when we get home on Sunday. I can put it in the mail Monday morning.

Again so sorry about the strollers being in the wrong place.

Jen: I sent you a PM and you, too, Dee, with my cell phone #. I'll stick with #4, since that's what I signed on for originally. I have a granddaughter & grandson 11 mos apart (3&4) so this will really be appreciated by my budget!

I can also take custody of #5 if no one signs up for it by the time I arrive. I can put a 3rd grandchild in it, and get it to the next swapper, as I will have 2 adult daughters with me, too.

Did any of our great swappers get a free upgrade PIN?

We haven't gotten one, but my friend Amanda did get one. THis is their first trip to the world and they got upgraded!!! She is going to be hooked!!!

We tried to get upgraded with their PIN, but they arrive after us so unfortunately we couldn't use it. Each person with a PIN can upgrade 3 rooms per PIN, but you have to arrive at the same time or after the PIN holder. Darn, we really could have used an upgrade as we will have 3 adults and 2 kids in a room at POP!!! It's gonna be a tight squeeze.

Congrats to anyone with a PIN!!!

First- no problem about the wrong resort, all's well that ends well, so no big deal!
Whew! I am so relieved the missing seat was found! Yay!
The seat on the stroller has held up just fine for us!
The other stroller, though, with the broken bar between the seats, well, not so good. The broken, duct-taped bar gave out again on us yesterday. We are going to re-duct tape it for the next swapper, but the whole thing is not so good. It really should be replaced at some point, and the next few swappers until then should bring duct tape in case it bottoms out on them, too.
I took pictures, but then realized it is the same broken problem that was already mentioned and photographed, so I don't think I need to post them.
It's raining right now- the first rain since we got here last Tuesday, so we are going to run out to the Trading Post and buy some duct tape right now to fix it up. Likely we won't use it ourselves and will make the kids share the other RC Stroller we have instead.

Update on #4's broken bar between the seats. My husband replaced the broken bar with a bungee cord, which seems more likely to stay in place than duct taping in the broken bar again. It is holding up well and we will leave the bungee cord (installed in place of the broken bar) with the stroller for the next swapper(s). The broken bar is still there as well, in the even future swappers want to tape it back in place. Hope this helps. My DH insisted that I mention that the bar really should be replaced, the bungee, while it is working, is not the best long-term solution. But we all knew that .
We check out tomorrow and will be doing a face to face swap of #1 and leaving #4 in LS at Pop for the stroller sitter. I will send her the claim check number. Then off to the beach for us!
We have had great use of the strollers- THANK YOU Maddie for making it possible for this swap to keep on keepin' on!

I'm sorry that I haven't been around for the past few days. It was our 22nd wedding anniversary and hubby kidnapped me! This is the first time he has done anything of this kind! It only took me 25 years to "SHOW HIM THE LIGHT" hahahaa

So after 4 days of no phones, no TV, no kids..I'm back and ready to get this swap a MOVING!

So I will be on the horn...plus PMing DebraW76 again and let's see if we can get this swap back in working order!

BTW...I can't wait until our 25th because our 21 was soooo relaxing and great quality time. Something we don't get with 5 children.
