I really need to get my printer/scanner out of the box and hooked up to this laptop. I would love to show him off! One of the things that drove me crazy when he lived with us was he would slouch while sitting and standing( I put it off to low self esteem) but talk about one tall straight back boy in his pic. Like WOW!

He LOVES the military! It was awesome hearing the excitement in his voice. For a young boy less than two years ago not knowing what direction his life was taking him to a young man saying in 6 years he wants to re-inlist and do this or that. He's so cool!

Anyway (I'm sure you guys are growing tired of hearing about bootsie (my name for him))....everything is updated, new swappers added, cancelled swappers removed, and other swappers moved to new dates.

NOW TO GET THOSE FREE DINING DATES FILLED

Hi all, I used the RC1 from March 22-28. I completely forgot about contacting the next swapper with my claim ticket info, but I believe she checked in on Tuesday, so all appears well.

The stroller worked great for us. It's very easy to push and steer; no problems at all.

Unfortunately, RC is not in the best of shape. All the accessories (with the exception of the tire pump) are gone. The stroller was pretty dirty, but I stayed in a villa with access to a vacuum and washing machine. I vacuumed the crumbs off and washed the seat cushions that came off. These are just cosmetic issues and to be expected with all the use it's getting (except the missing accessories--that's just carelessness!). The main problem is that the strings across the back that allows the seat to go up and down is broke. It really needs to be replaced. If two kids are sitting back in the stroller, they basically cave into each other. My kids tend to sit on the edge of their seats and lean forward, so this wasn't an issue for us. I can see it being an issue for others, however.

I just wanted to give an honest assessment of the state of this stroller. I haven't chatted with the person who has it now, so I don't know if her opinion will be different. I don't think the stroller needs to be replaced; just spiffed up a bit. I can't imagine what it'll be like in a few months.

The exchange worked great. I greatly appreciate the work the organizers have done to save us all a huge amount of $$$!

We just got back from dropping off RC#3. It was great using it! It does say that a fan and hook were being donated on 3/14 but they were not with the stroller when we picked it up on 4/1. It seems in good shape and we had no problems. Now we will rent for tomorrow and pick up #4 on Sunday 4/4.

Can someone tell me what it is that needs replacing on RC1? Is it just a string, or the part that holds the string together? I know Maddi is doing her very best to get it replaced and repaired (thank-you!!!) but we're 26 days out and my boys will definitely be sleeping in it each day (that is we'll be attempting to get them to sleep... ) so I want to be prepared for a temporary fix JIC.

I'll also be staying DVC with access to the vacuum and washer/dryer, so I'll try to get both 1 and 2 all cleaned up. We have #1 so that one for sure, and I'll do my best to get the other one spruced up.

Thanks for keeping us updated on the strollers' conditions!
