Royal carriage swap-#1 STROLLER-MISSING-FOUND-MISSING AGAIN

Anyone have any ideas about labeling the rain covers to the strollers? We'll be leaving the ones we bought with strollers 1 and 2 and I figured it might be a good idea to put Maddi's info on them in case they get lost. Think just a sharpie would work? Where would the best place to put it be so that it would be noticed? I'm thinking along the front or side near the bottom in fairly big lettering... This way if it drops out or flies away there's a chance it will find it's way back.

msreneau-That's ok on the items left in Indiana. THings happen, I'll try to get a report from each swapper and start over on what every stroller needs.

Mr.Miprender (He would just laugh as he thinks I spend too much time on the Disboards) But yes he is very handy and my dear mother is bringing canvas thread in case anything needs to be sewn. I also convinced my mother to bring her laptop so I will post on here about the condition when we are down there.

Finally, I am all packed we will have 8 bags for the 5 of us plus whatever my mother and brother bring too and our carryons. I always bring my own pack n play as my son loves to lick things (any thing) and at least I know where this pack n play has been.

Also I will be brining the mommyhook for RC1. That is already packed along with your Maddie's info and Hygeinejean's info

Got this board off TGM's. I am interested in stroller swapping for dates 6/5 to 6/13.
We are staying at the Boardwalk villas. We actually only need the stroller on 6/6 to 6/12 due to traveling.

Do you decorate the RC in any way to identify it or is that not necessary?

Does it fit fairly easily in stores/shops or does Disney make you leave them outside? (Oh please don't say I have to keep it outside - kids in gift shops wandering around is NOT fun!)

How easy is it to get from recline and back up/vice versa?

We normally have one last big whopping hit of winter just before Easter. So I am hoping that this is it.
Lets just say that I am not rushing to take the snow tires off my car just yet!! We usually save that for the first week in May!!

Although we didn't have a car for our trip, I'm pretty sure the stroller will fit in the trunk of an economy car. Don't plan on putting anything else big (like your DH) in the trunk with it though!



Anyone put DH ..... I mean RC in the trunk?

Update: The dimensions of the folded stroller are 33 x 34 x 21. Like anyone knows how big their trunk is - HA!
Also, I did a search and found one review that says the stroller will not fit in the trunk of a small car (did not say what make/model). Hmmmmm.... Maybe some back up twine or a bungie cord would be a good just-in-case item.

I'm staying at the Poly, so I think that for paying all that money I don't want to rent a car, too, especially if I'm going to have to try to channel my inner MacGyver to get the RC to fit in the trunk of a compact car. Then the budget part me thinks I'm paying too much to stay at the Poly anyway and I should rent a car and stay at an All Star. Someone help me please!

I say skip the rental car! Take the ME from the airport to the resort and use WDW trans while you are there. Read my tip on WDW transportation + RC on the first page of the thread.

Also, here's a great link that tells you how to get around from place to place using WDW trans. Put in where you are and where you want to go and it gives you the best ways to get there. (You have to scroll down to the bottom to see the tool.) I studied this before we left! We have DD6, DD4 and DD2 (where you'll be in 2 years!) and managed great.

Nelep, you are just a wealth of information Thanks for all your help. I don't know why I'm freaking out so much; we've been to Disney 4 times with the girls. I guess it's because it'll be the first time we're outnumbered. I guess you would know Nelep! Where did you stay?
